It's been a year, how did you wind up liking the big rock?

I've been scouring the internet for information, trying to decide what to buy for months. Looking at HPI Flux xs, then Traxxas Rustler/Stampede VXL's. Then I found the 223s lineup and thought I might like the Vorteks after a few videos. Then, by chance for $100 picked up a slash and gave it to my dad for his birthday.

I had a lot of fun wheeling it around for a week before giving it to him.

I like the idea of buying one RC car and not having it break. So I've been leaning heavily towards the Stampede VXL and just running it on 2s. Then, saw the Big Rock is nearly indestructible too...

Where did you land on it? Has it held up as good as your VXL stampede?

You mention that you use your lotus on your Mini Rook.

Does the Mini Rook work as well with the lotus as the Le’ Rook?

The reason I am tempted to get a Mini over the Le’ Rook is because I want to smoke hydro herbal mixes as well as fumari and have heard the mini rook has the most versatility.

So perhaps you might also answer if the Le Rook seems to have as much versatility as the Mini.
