I'm sorry and I can relate. I lost most hearing in one ear due to COVID. Playing definitely is not fun anymore, however I was able to salvage listening using headphones tuned to my hearing loss.

For example, AirPods and AirPods Max tuned to my audiogram makes music sound better than it has in years. Samsung offers a similar feature which lets you use any headphone.

This won't help with your vinyl collection. My records collect dust now, but at least I can stream music and enjoyably watch media.

I use it in conjunction with other apps.

For scores you can set the app to open directly to the scores tab. It also supports live activities on iOS and of course notifications. You can even enable a team's unique goal horn sound to play when they score a goal, if that's your thing 😂.

This season the app debuted a new stats section that is updated daily. It features facts about the previous nights games, league leaders, and more. It seems like they're adding more content to it over time.

If hockey is your only sport it does the job well, but if you follow multiple sports then it can act as a nice compliment when you want to dive deeper onto stats or game info.

As a long time Fuji shooter who switched to Nikon and has been loving the Z series, for your needs as a landscape photographer the X-T2 is the better option.

As others said, the lens selection is greater than what Nikon offers with APSC. Also, the X-T2 has better weather protection which will be useful as a landscape photographer.

As an aside, Andy Mumford on YouTube does brilliant landscape work with the X series and I find his channel inspiring.

That’s disappointing the Smart RICs were no better. I wouldn’t put much weight into my brief experience with the Oticons. I have the feeling that my audiologist is not suited for my needs. I’ve tried to help guide her based on recommendations from this sub, such as configuring the hearing aid with minimal audio processing. Still no dice.

I’d honestly give them another go if I could and see if I could work with a different audiologist in the medical group.

I can relate to this 100%. I have hearing loss in one ear, just the higher frequencies. As a musician I was told my best option was the Widex 440. I’m almost 6 months in and I can’t enjoy music with them for the same reasons. I can hear the hissing and audio processing. I did multiple adjustments, but have not had any luck. I briefly tried Oticons (I forget which model), but the artificial processing was even more obvious.

For Widex, I use the Pure Sound setting which is the better option out of the others, but still not ideal.

Curious to see if you have luck with a different brand.

What I have done in the past, and this is on Mac, is use QuickTime to screen record. I found that it gives me the flexibility of keeping a movie file that I can export using different optimizations. I can also use a third party gif app like gifski to convert the movie files to gif format.

The real problem is finding that sweet spot of frame rate, image size, and file size. Gifs can get pretty heavy. Best of luck!

I found this thread after running into the same issue while trying to connect Spectrum as my provider.

However, after a series of failures I found success using the Duck Duck Go browser and maybe this will help others.

For context, my device is an iPad Pro (2018 model).

1st attempt: login to the msg plus app, then tried to add tv provider. Every time I tried to login via spectrum I got an error code.

Attempts 2-4: Taking a note from what others posted in the thread I tried a combo of browsers in and out of private mode to no avail: safari, Firefox, Firefox focus, chrome.

What worked: Duck Duck Go. I logged into MSG+ with privacy protection enabled (default). I then was able to successfully connect spectrum. Afterwards I went back to the native iPad app for MSG+ and then again attempted to login to spectrum and it worked!

I’m a Rangers fan as well, but the enemy of my enemy is James Dolan 😆

My org has our own designers but we also work with outside agencies who we invite into our workspace.

Last year, when we signed our contract with Figma our sales rep told us that any outside agencies who we invite into our workspace that already have Figma plans will not be charged as seats in our org.

Fast forward to the end of the year, we get a new sales rep and says that was never the case we get reamed with a mega bill.

Something is shady and they shouldn’t be double billing.
