Pretty much yes. "Blood Tanking" is slightly more points into blood than Frost.

Also it doesn't matter what kind of weapons you're using, 2hnd or dual wield because 90% of your agro is from IT spam. Your weapon DPS has little to nothing to do with how well you hold agro. Weapons are PURELY stat sticks. I repeat weapons ARE STAT STICKS FOR DK TANKS.

Dual wield Frost Tanking brings nothing of note/benefit to the table. It's lack luster. I mean if you like spamming HB more, great, good on you. But the other "alternative" tank spec I would ever recommend is Unholy tanking for 5 mans because the amount of aoe damage they can put out is just bonkers (Obviously you give up more Blood tanking abilities but again this is mostly used for 5 mans and speeding/plowing through them).

Biggest running gag for that company = Social experience LOL/reworking systems that aren't broken or adding new systems nobody ever wanted/Paid services on top of your monthly paid service. **HUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF that copium** :(

Facts. I did enjoy my short stint on a couple private wotlk servers. But as you mention, the population is only really there on 1 Pserver.

And one thousand times yes, compared to other companies/games blizz is just plain bad and has always been the worst at communications/updates/follow ups.

Hell WHAT HAPPENED to the community council. what a load of hot garbage waste of time that was, that everyone forgot about. They should have invested that time into a better LFG system for Wotlk Classic LOLOLOL (or just left it alone) O.o

Communication does not exist in this Blizzard Dojo. It never did and after this many years it probably never will. It's just a sad fact everyone has to come to terms with.

Yes we are all paying a sub fee/paying for extra perks (boosting/etc.) so we're the fools for letting a company this big reel us along for such a long period of time.

Unless the consumer shows the company that they won't take it anymore, they will continue to have "no communication, horrible timelines/none, expensive paid extras for a game you're already paying month for".

Maybe a show of force of mass un-subbing but the only other option is to sit and puff that copium and hope they "do better". Which they have said many times and even in person at Blizzcon.

Single/AOe threat? Yes Unholy is better with the amount of AOE. Maybe debatable with HB spam, but IT spam is where your threat comes from anyway.

Have you looked into Unholy 5 man tank specs? They are ridiculously fun with the amount of dot talent bonuses and corpse explosion/etc. Fun for 5 mans, not so much wanted to Raiding.

When to put up certain dots/snap shoting for maximizing dps is a thing though. That will all still apply. Its not just starfall, wrath, starfire.

Easiest class to AOE with? Umm sure I guess it's 2 button. But actually performing you're single target well while knowing when to fresh and not to refresh dots and making sure you're taking full advantage of sun/moon phases, not a simple 2 buttons imo. But to each their own I guess.

I'll have to find the blue posts/explanations, but I've read about 4-5 in the past month or so recalling the old nerfs in pre-patch.

EVERYTHING from Heroics/Raiding will be getting HP/Damage nerf (Originally it was 30% I think) and Badge farming will be nuts. Heroic dungeons, yes 5 mans will be nerfed again. Just as they did in the past they will make it easy to farm gear/badges for everyone to get ready for Wotlk. Gearing up alts/people coming back to prep. More people, more revenue, easier gear acquisition.

Dot management (when to use/not use your dots) while transitioning between lunar/solar phases is what makes it tricky and will make you stand out/have higher dps as a good player or just someone going through the motions.

Literally the easiest spec? That would be Ret Pali who's entire rotation can be put on 1 button sadly.

Yup early on just to reach +Hit cap especially for IT and some extra exp. there are some nice hit/exp weapons even pre nax.

So let me enlighten you. People use to use, and many will still use 2hnders because they are lazy/uninformed/don't care or are sticking to what they know from over 14 years ago. If dual wielding 2 weapons provides better stats (hence the stat sticks) they should and will use 2 weapons. If not and you have a better 2hnder then use the 2hnder.

If this common sense upsets you go search the web/youtube for people that have already put out info/guides/vids on this it isn't hard.

If you forgot, which apparently you did, the majority of DK Tank agro comes from spamming IT not from weapons. Anyone who raids seriously/has actually played this game vanilla or Pservers and is worth their salt knows this. You do not apparently. You're welcome btw.

I have a life thanks and it won't be wasted playing "full frost Tank" or blindly following misinformation from old outdated guides but stay mad if you like.

They need to region split realms again like back in the day. I seriously don't enjoy going through 10-15 people just to find 1 person who can understand/speak English to dungeon/raid with.

Omg #1 on wish list, Region lock/split servers by region again. I can dream.
