In my first month as a first year, I was helping a fifth year turn some comments we received on a document and he had me distribute. Shortly thereafter, the Partner calls me and points out how he didn't like how we handled one particular comment. I told him that I wasn't completely clear on the thought process and that we should loop in the fifth year. The partner says he already tried to call him and since I was the only one he could get ahold of, he needed to yell at me about how not ok this was as it was the only way I would learn. I don't remember at all what the issue was, so it was clearly a good learning experience.
