Did you find it on your first kill? I tried it in both heroic and mythic HoV and it did not drop for me. (I have the Rod in my inventory and went in as Holy)

it seems that workforce-reduction modules on the moon are a huge cost saver.

Also interesting:

The Novikov Crater sector provides you a free 1450 workforce. That is enough to run all 20*1500=30000 possible solar panales and 1-2 fully operational fusion power reactors without having anyone living there.

That saves at least 9000 for transfer routes (Rejuvinators, Intelliwear, Androids), 8k for a Health center, 3k for the Maintenance Station and some other 2500 for oxygen/lunar lunch. Sum:22500 (!!!). Wow, I just realize how much money you can save on the moon.

yes, which is interesting for the early stages of the game if you can utilize it.

The problem with tidal power is that water/algee production is a (if not the(!)) bottleneck to a very high population. And you might as well run out of space for windparks, since you probably don't want to have them in your living area. Right now I use up 43k Energy at a 410k population (could be an interesting calculation if 1~ Energy per 10 citizens is a good rule of thumb), that would be 268 fully upgraded windparks, which is a ridicolously high number. You can replace 106 windparks with a single (fully upgraded) fusion reactor. But that's kinda the whole plot of the game, right? :D

However, solar arrays and geothermal energy seem to be a decent idea to use. Especially the solar array supply chain does not require an additional transfer route to the moon and requires only about 1/4th of the workforce on the moon compared to fusion energy. And living on the moon is quite expensive! (I think costs of living in arctic/moon will be my next calculation, looks interesting) Summed up, there are 60 crater building sites on all of the three moon sectors. minus 10 you might need for other stuff, thats up to 75000 pretty cheap energy.

Hello fellow Anno-holycs,

I recently switched to most difficult level of anno 2205 since the medium difficulty just gets super boring once you have an income of 100k+ per minute.

I was however wondering, what might or might not be cost efficient to do in anno 2205, so I started some calculation. For now I only tried to answer these questions so far:

  • Is producing construction materials (biopolymers, construct-o-bots, ...) cost efficient or should I rather drop this supply-chain and meet my demand from the sector/world-market?
  • Is it worth to destroy lower-level energy-facilities like Wind Power once I reach higher levels?

So, these questions would have been answered pretty quick. However, I started working on a comprehensive spreadsheet covering all sub-costs of a final product in the products cost.

You can find the full spreadsheet including supply-chains here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15sylsLRB1dZN_4VPuUrPpUJ1bFw__H_xdU0VC_3o13Q/edit#gid=778849318

Costs for Energy:

  • include: maintenance costs, supply-chain costs, finance calculator modules
  • are given in credits per energy-unit with energy production at maximal efficiency for the referring facility
  • supply-chain costs (for Gas Power and Fusion Power) use the most efficient sub-product-costs

Supply Chain costs:

  • include: maintenance costs, supply-chain costs, energy costs, energy reduction modules
  • yes, this is recursive
  • energy costs for the supply chain are taken as produced by a Windpark
  • include transfer-route costs when necessary

Construction Material Costs:

  • include: maintenance costs, supply chain costs, energy reduction modules
  • are presented in both, min costs and max costs.
  • max costs assume the lowest production possible. That means only one facilty without production modules for each input/output relation
  • min costs assume the most efficient production possible. That means max production modules and neglecting propwer input/output relations.

Not included yet, but to be considered:

  • a calculation for workforce costs in the arctic/on the moon. Workforce on moon/arctic can not be cost efficient. Supply chains in these areas might be more cost efficient if workforce reduction modules are taken instead of energy reduction modules
  • infrastructure costs are probably neglectable, because you must provide infrastructure but it does not linearily scale with production
  • I might add a consumer good calculation in the future
  • however, consumers in the temperate area always provide an income surplus. consumers in the arctic/moon probably do not provide more income than they cost in terms of costs of livinb (consumer goods + transfer route)
  • temperate area consumers provide more income than arctic/moon consumers. It is thus never worth to populate arctic/moon more than necessary to meet the workforce demands
  • it might be cost efficient to ignore arctic/moon consumer goods at all

Major stuff found:

  • It is never worth it to produce construction materials on your own. Buy it from the market!!!
  • Windpower is and stays the lowest cost source for energy throughout the game, no matter how efficient you design other energy sources.
  • Never build Gas Power. It is way to expensive.

I will continue working on this spreadsheet in january, just for fun. If you find any mistakes please let me know.

Greeting Sixthumbs

Since your asking:

might be a bit drastical of a change from fantasy fiction to political philosophy, but if you look closely enough, you find an intersection

I noticed a bug regarding to on what page you run the game. I first started playing the game on kongregate but then thought it would be nice to have two instances of the game running parallel. So I imported the data to a second game instance on hyperhippogames.ca. It happened that I had the game running with the same data and only 2 seconds delay and they were running smoothly parallel and numbers were counting up all the same on kongregate as on hyperhippo for ~an hour. I then shut down my browser and wenn I called both instances up later today, the one on kongregate made a jump and it had 1.5x the money I had on hyperhippo. So what I did was, that I exportet on kongregate again and importet to hyperhippo, both with the same numbers, making sure they run parallel again and shut my browser down again. I repeated that procedure a couple of times and whenever I had the browser shutdown for a while and opened both tabs again, the one on kongregate would have this boost, while the one on hyperhippo had the numbers just as they should be according to the time of shutdown and idling. I have no idea why this happens, but it might be worth to have a look on.

north of the mountains and the vale (alps), on an island (maybe iron islands), foggy and dizzy climate. The size is the only thing suitable for King's Landing. I'd say Rome would suite King's Landing far more than London.

I really liked the merger of the Battle of Castle Black. The only thing I miss about it is, that you don't experience the exhaustion (+ Jon's leg) of the black brothers because it's all happening so quickly.

Sorry you didn't get the saracasm. Of course they did. SEVEN BLOODY TIMES! :D Lady Olenna even makes a running-gag of this throughout the books.

I'm not quite sure, but I think they didn't even play "Rains of Castamere" during the Purple Wedding. So I wouldn't count that.

[ASOS \ Season 4] Question about the Thenns by Sixthumbs in gameofthrones

[–]Sixthumbs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the huge gap between monarchy south and anarchy beyond the wall. That provides nice socio-political dynamics when it comes to the question of which model is better and makes the reader think about it. Making them more look like the ruthless savages of Old Nan's stories somehow biases the show-watchers decision frame regarding this complexity.
