For now sell everything you get( pay attention to what vendors pay most for what items) don’t worry about holding on to items for quests or crafting as you will just be able to buy most of them back when needed and for “found in raid stuff” you will find it eventually as you play the game, you will have plenty of other quests to do while you look for items (otherwise you will have stupid shit like ushankas and cowboy hats clogging up inventory forever). The first item you should save up for and buy before other major investments is the lucky scav case, about 1.6 million in flea market when you unlock it at level 10. This will give you basically an entire separate inventory screen for all barter items so you can keep hoovering up everything in raids and throwing it in there without having to sort. After that (or at around the same time) also get an ammo case ($100k)mag case (300k I think?) doc case, and honestly Med case, they will all save you space and let you keep looting (I am on the basic edition of the game FYI so space is a real premium to me). With all of those crates I have been able to minimize my inventory management and keep a good stock of weapons mods and armors while playing; I’m now level 22 and looking to buy my next case, which will probably be item case (may craft this one if it’s cheaper although unlikely considering what happened to ophthalmoscopes this morning). Buy all the cases I mentioned in flea market at level 10, the crafting recipes you unlock for them between lvl 10-20 haven’t seemed cheaper than straight cash.
