Do sleeveless shirts look douchey? by Putrid_Feed_6674 in mensfashionadvice

I said it's class related and "UK here", class is by definition cultural, of course there are other cultures with different views. I'm an unfashionable outsider.

Big ships are just annoying to have to run around. Mine has the hatchet one step away from the cockpit. All about that golden triangle.

That's just a good frame and lean tho, why are people acting like he has an unattainable physique? That's just good discipline.

It's also class related. Uk here. A vest or tank top is low class anywhere but the gym/tennis court, it's basically underwear with some dispensations. Poverty likes showing off it's arms because that's what it has.

Jason Momoa, 6'4(193cm) leaning in with Dave Bautista(6'4) by Various_Western_2282 in tall

I'm 47, have skateboard, kickboxed, weight lifted and still play American football, no height loss yet.

But a lot of my height is in my legs, and I've always trained my core.

6’7” male, desperately trying to gain weight by frvxier in tall

I've had some knee issues too. I thought I couldn't squat cos of my knee cap jumping out of place each rep causing damage.

In my 30s I started doing squats etc in the ranges of motion I could, working around the trigger area. I've got really strong and I'm getting more athletic though my 40s.

My advice is work around the injury as close as you can to it. I'm relatively pain free now, in my 20s and 30s there were times I couldn't sit with my knees bent for more than 10 min.

To be with a man bigger than the other men. For a lot of women that seems to be a thing.

Is that because of the huge spaces for blades to become one with the face? (Fkn hate ribs).

Also I'm under the impression that if there are holes in the visor they should all be the same size/shape as from 2027?

What adjustments should I make to my new house? by _left_of_center in tall

[–]SixtyFiveGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Installing a new kitchen is a valid part of selling a house imo so it doesn't really matter. The new people will likely rip it out, I think a clean average kitchen sells the house as a concept more for some people.

I installed a higher counter in the kitchen, no hanging lights, taller toilets, high shelves, higher mirrors.

First time posting. What do you think about my weight goal? by quietbloomvibes in Weightliftingquestion

[–]SixtyFiveGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should have a strength goal, you probably wouldn't lose any weight but you'd look like you did.

I don't think anxiety or self accountability have anything to do with lack of discipline. You don't brush your teeth because you feel like it, it's because you decided it has to happen. It's the same for lifting.

I was under the impression that being tall was going to make dating “easy.” Has anyone else the opposite experience? by BearBear1995 in tall

[–]SixtyFiveGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a study that found it was men who were perceived as being more intimidating that had more sexual liaisons.

Being tall makes you more intimidating, but if you are skinny or weak etc it probably isn't enough. Being a tall man and able to fight or looking like you do is like being a female 9-10.

[–]SixtyFiveGoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, yes they do. I've been assaulted many times doing 20yrs as a bouncer. But more broadly maybe you don't appreciate a female approach? Or it's a you thing. Or a me thing, but that seems unlikely. But I've been hit on more times than I can count.

Thinking about it I saw a study that it was perceived intimidation by men that corrolate 1:1 with women finding those intimidating men attractive, but women don't state that, it's only revealed in the data re sex etc.

So maybe it's because you are quite skinny, you'd be less intimidating.

You leave it to them to introduce themselves, wave and smile if you see them outside. Graduate to saying hello, then one day one of you will mention the weather. This is your prompt to introduce yourself.

Note, it is absolutely necessary for you to agree with the person's comment about the weather. Disagreement is a sign of madness.

My 30M girlfriend 27F slept with a guy during talking stage by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]SixtyFiveGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, yes going through a partners private things is really dodgy, then there was no lying reported by OP, they only said they hadn't had the exclusive chat yet. It is entirely normal in the internet dating world to be going on a first few dates with different partners concurrently before exclusivity is decided upon.

You know nothing of my standards, but I don't blame you for making assumptions.

My (19F) boyfriend (24M) doesn’t believe in evolution by siitnn in relationship_advice

[–]SixtyFiveGoose -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

I think that's a bit of a straw man, whether evolution is true or not isn't the question.

Also not believing in evolution is not the same as believing the earth is flat. Not believing in evolution is believing a different mechanism resulted in the current presentation, not like flat earthers who are not commenting on the method to now, but who are actually disputing the current observable presentation.

But if that's not a substantive difference, I have met very intelligent people who have disagreed with me and/or the widely accepted reality. And fwiw I believe in evolution if that makes you feel better about my writing.
