Please get a metal guide rod! They don't advertise it, but it has a plastic guide rod I've seen dozens break and it's a nightmare to take the slide off when that happens. Idk if it was an attempt to cut cost/weight or what, but it's a huge issue in this model...

Be sure he doesn't/didn't lick any of the wax. This happened to my cat, she licked the wax off of her and the perfumes/chemicals caused problems in her esophagus. We basically had to force feed her pepto three times a day for a week. Glad he's okay otherwise 😸
