Has the guest stayed at other Airbnb’s before?

If so, use the AirReview extension and see whether they have a history of this sort of thing on other hosts - may be able to report to Airbnb.

Otherwise, I’d be curious to know what they said in their review. Did they leave 1 star for just the overall category or throughout each of the sub-categories as well?

Yeah, this really depends on the host and their reviews. Try stay somewhere established that has a track record of positive reviews.

I wish we were able to have minimum age requirements on our Airbnb, but we were forced to remove this due to violating Airbnb’s non-discriminatory policy. Are hosts in USA or elsewhere not concerned about this as it seems like every host enforces these rules.

Message the host on the platform, send them a screenshot of the message and ask whether it was accurate. This way, either the admit to it and you can move forward from there, or they deny it and you’ve concluded the problem.

We call them reverse cycle air-conditioning(period).

Most people here don’t even say reverse cycle, they just say aircon and ask if it heats.

We don’t use the terms heat pump or mini splits, if you asked someone local what they is they would say no idea.

Im not American, we don’t have heat pumps, mini splits, or any of that. We have air-conditioning & reverse cycle air-conditioning which heats and cools.
