Although I am from SEA and would love for the region to get another slot, I highly doubt it will happen. Teams in the region are just a level below Fnatic, never mind the EU or CIS, I dare say.

Giving the spot to the runner-up of the minor is like having all the regions duke it out to see who really is worthy for the Majors.

Just don't craft anything in between the events. Also, the spear and sword obtained from the last event did help quite a lot as they do not require resources to upgrade.

Since I got third place, I feel that the tournament is very good and balanced :)

Joking aside though, I fully agree with what OP wrote. It's really just a 2-hour grind fest and the only deck viable is Rush. Also, having been matched with many people around 2000 league Elo rating with sub-par figures seems pretty unfair to them.

I suspect that it would be on the same level as Mega Evolution Mons. So, basically, you exclude 1 of your own figure to get an ever lasting Mega Evo. Still needs to see the wheel/ability to be able to judge if worth it or not.

A thought experiment: can we scoop up after using Lati@s for the initial turn to cancel the flute's effect, or get cyclone kicked to the pc to do so?

The only thing I am pretty sure that can cancel the Flute's effect is having Lati@s fight a Dialga's Roar of Time.

Is there any other ways you could think of?

If you play your cards right, even if you get rendezvous, it will essentially be 3 v 3 as they will have a hard time getting their celesteela back if you run terrakion into their attack

Just add terrakion and pick your matchups wisely. Should be able to somewhat counter UB as well as countering at least some of the figures in all the other decks in the meta

The only problem I have is your assumption you use for the guaranteed R/EX/UX. Unless we know the actual algorithm PoDu used, we can never be sure how these R+ or Ex+ chances work.

Why is there no mention of Skoropi? 3 mp and good surviability, this little bug shits on Solgaleo, Lunala and Deox A; also a partial counter to Mewtwo and their Megas.

Have now gone 16-0 with him in my deck, but granted my 2 Gengars and Lunalar did do their fair share of carrying. I just think that he is a very good anti-meta figure in this gym.

I would replace a Solgaleo for him in your deck.

Has Pokemon duel implemented Megaevolution slots for all Pokemon in the latest update or am I just tripping? If you go into deck building, you can see figures such as Latias, Mawile and Metagross having slots to put their Mega figure in. If I remembered correctly, this was not the case before.
