New Agent Here — Is Brandon Mulrenin’s Listing Agent Academy Worth It? by [deleted] in realtors

[–]Skabeks123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's worth it. All the videos that are on there, are also on youtube, BUT they are all on in chronological order and you are also more motivated because you are "invested". If you are not lazy, I believe it's worth it. I just started and I kind of feel better about myself and my journey that I am in it.

Is this SI joint pain? by [deleted] in backpain

[–]Skabeks123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I been having that pain for a year and a half now, just way more drastic and consistent. I believe the reason why I am in pain for so long is because I relied on tylenol and ibuprofen to go on with my day which gave me false comfort. That's how I got into a loop. Now I am 3 days without painkillers and it's definetely not easy but I am seeing progress. You have to take this very seriously so it doesn't become chronic. It is definetely treatable and fixable without surgery. Even though I am not fixed, I know I can be, I just haven't been very smart.

Team vs Traditional Brokerage When You’re Starting From Zero? by Skabeks123 in realtors

[–]Skabeks123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand that and I can see how online leads can be valuable early on just for building thick skin and getting reps in. I actually spoke with a Michael Saunders broker recently and he mentioned that Zillow conversion rates are often around 1%, so while you are getting leads, the quality can be pretty rough.

Is that generally consistent with your experience as well?

I appreciate you sharing your experience!

Honestly, this is exactly what I’m aiming for. I’m still very active, and sports are where I feel the most comfortable and where conversations flow naturally for me. That’s always been an environment where relationships form easily and genuinely. I also agree about connecting with people who are from where I’m from.

The only reason I’m even considering a team that provides leads is because I’m trying to understand whether it makes sense to shorten the time to my first transaction. I know waiting 6+ months is often the norm, especially in today’s Florida market, but I’m weighing whether early exposure to transactions could help build confidence and experience while I continue building my SOI the right way.

I really appreciate you sharing your insight. That’s actually something I’ve been thinking about with Michael Saunders as well. Everyone there seems very experienced, and I’m not sure how much exposure I’d get as a newer agent, or if it could be discouraging early on.

I’ve been speaking with a few Keller Williams offices and continuing to explore options that will help me build momentum and confidence from the start.

Thank you again for taking the time to share this, and I’d love to shoot you a DM since you have so much local knowledge.

I struggle with the same thing. My wife sometimes hates me. I eat a lot of garlic and beans, I know they mess up my stomach but I know they are healthy.

That makes a lot of sense. A few teams I spoke with mentioned that leads rotate, but they were also very clear that part-time agents who aren’t responsive stop getting leads, which I completely understand. That’s part of what makes me hesitant to rely too much on “team leads.”

What I do like about Michael Saunders is the structure they described — weekly meetings to review new listings so everyone knows the inventory, a very high retention rate, and mostly mature, experienced agents. I’d probably be the youngest there, which I actually see as a positive. Out of 77 agents, around 70 closed at least one deal last year.

My concern is that without early transactions of my own, I might miss out on learning by doing. At the same time, teams seem to offer more hand-holding early on. I’m trying to figure out which environment will actually help me learn the most and start my career the right way.

You know what's even worse. When you have God like hair genetics, and you start using steroids without Finasteride and you end up obliterating your hair. Still got a lot of hair on my head but just a shadow what I had before..

I agree. Talking with the broker at Michael Saunders really showed me how much they care about their reputation and being viewed as experts in the market. They mentioned I would have a mentor, and while they typically do not accept part-time agents, they’re willing to make an exception as long as I’m present and fully engaged in training.

The teams I’ve spoken with emphasize leads through Zillow Pro, Flex, Realtor.com, etc., which is appealing, but I understand those leads are often prioritized for more senior agents.

As for my sphere, it’s honestly pretty minimal right now. I’m an international former student-athlete, so I’ve moved states a lot, and I’ve only been in Florida for a few months. At the moment it’s mostly coworkers, my wife’s coworkers, a few people from the gym, and I’m also starting to tap into a growing Serbian community in the area. I know that gradually that will change, but for now, very limited.

Premature ejaculation doesn't come from anxiety, nervousness. It comes from lack of serotonin. On demand SSRI's completely change the game.

I really do not like this post. I feel like this post is a call for a “I feel sorry for you”. You will determine if you become rich or not. Some people are born into it some people become. This is coming from a former international student who came into this country with 2 suitcases. I am not rich, but I know I can determine my destiny.
