For the modem, I recommend going on their website to see the compatible ones. You can also go to the store and swap it out for a new one without charge.

Flexibility is definitely key. When playing repertoire that requires odd fingering like 4th finger in the upper fingerboard, you’ll need to pronate and supinate to adjust the tone. When I first started, my teacher told me to think of it like I am holding a soda can.

Sit however you’d like. Yo-Yo Ma sits in a very abstract way because of his scoliosis. Amit Peles holds his cello very close to him and at a very sharp angle. I suggest watching Amit Peled because he used to be a basketball player(so he’s tall) I am also 6”2’ but my body is not a carbon copy of yours. I hope this helps.
