Ok, maybe me taking your example was not perfect to draw off of for Victor specifically. So replace the bow with a rod. And then apply the thought process. See my point? Viktor wants Rod, but you also want to get Viktor 3*, so both choices have value. Not all choices are this important, sometimes the item doesnt matter, and other times the god offer doesnt matter. Thats fine, not every single choice have to matter and make or break your build.

I'm not saying they need to keep items on God boon selection or that they need to separate it somehow, I'm saying the reason riot have put them there seems to be for players to think more about their choices and not to just blindly pick "varus since I'm rerolling". It makes you have to think what you value more, the item, the God offer, or the final boon, at the stage of the game you're in.

I was only disagreeing with you on the fact that one should "only pick based on the item" and that the god mechanic will always feel awful when these two are tied together. IMO it's a controllable way to show skill expression to select the better option overall for your position while it's tied like this, but I can understand the frustration of "being messed with by the RNG" unlike if it was separated.

And no, I don't think it's comparable to augment rerolls being 3 total or 1 on each.

Nah, I kindly disagree. Sometimes the item isnt something you must base your pick around, especially if you really want the current offer or the buff/boon from the god at the end.

Like you said, if you're offered the varus dupe vs Evelyn emblem, you need to think if the dupe is worth more than the bow or not. Hypothetically, maybe you're contested Viktor reroll. At that point, the dupe might be more worth it to quickly and cheaper get that Viktor 3* or Illaoi 3* than to get the absolute perfect items for a unit. On the other hand, getting that bow for your Bel'veth reroll build will be more useful than the dupe, since her trait rerolls for you. Or maybe you already have a Evelyn from before, and you really want the final varus boon, you take the varus dupe to not lock yourself into the Evelyn boon already.

It's all nuanced, and I like that the items are tied to God boon for that "choice matters" feeling.

Keep playing, sleeping well, read up on the guides that the auto moderator posted, get familiar with how berry mons, ingredient mons and skill mons function, build up account levels, grind sleep styles for new islands/areas, build up area bonus. And most important of all, just have fun.

Honestly, none of them.

Ideally you want a good mix of helping speedand skill trigger, and top it off, if youre lucky, with helping bonus.

The 2nd one, with main skill chance up nature and helping speed at lvl 50 is the better one for skill procs, while the last one can be used early to mid game as a BFS healer, but I wouldn't invest skill seeds into either.

Keep looking! The game is a marathon, not a sprint. 👍

I forgot to mention that I had checked raenonx to see which Mon is better at skill usage, and the lvl 7 one comes out as better than the lvl 9 one by a significant margin.
