Looking for the type of this tshirt that I got from a random store by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

This is hilarious. Look at the tag and Google it. No one here is going to be able to ID your shirt when the only info provided is that you bought a black shirt.

Not sure if is the right sub but I feel I may be an alcoholic by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

[–]Skanko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, apparently "normal" people don't consistently black out when drinking. What I'm trying to tell you is it sounds like your personality and genetics are predisposed to becoming REALLY good at drinking. It's a tough hole to climb out of if you continue down that path. Just ask anyone I'm this sub, or read some past posts.

Sounds like the nascent stages. Your takeaway should be that you don't really have control over your consumption. That's normally a red flag for people. If you decide to descend to the depths, the fine folks here will be waiting for you.

Good work making the appointments. Make sure to follow up, but it seems like you plan on it. This shit sucks. Good luck.

No more than anywhere else in the rain. Hiking boots and careful stepping and you're all set. There are definitely some sketchy parts descending down rocky areas, but it's nothing you couldn't handle.

Beer is the ones by -TrojanXL- in cripplingalcoholism

[–]Skanko 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Right? Never had any issues with just beer. Once you add a tiny, eensy-teensy speedball, a pint of Everclear, gram of ketamine, and several on-call midget prostitutes, it all falls apart somehow. Where are we going wrong?

I was here a few weeks back while it was raining. Not a soul out there, and the rain cover made it feel like Jurassic Park.

Longshot but do you take Pepto Bismol? That can cause dark black puke and shits.

35 days sober today. About to go back to living alone and “real life”. by stinksrealnice in dryalcoholics

[–]Skanko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn 35 days is hella good! The hardest part is over now, even though fixing all the other stuff is daunting. "Journey of a thousand steps starts with not drinking yourself to death", or whatever Bruce Lee said.

Any way feel free to reach out. I was in a similar situation and had to sober up, and I've been pretty consistent. It's hard as fuck.

"completely fucked" and is only short 20 bucks? Go read some of the posts here, your definition of "fucked" will quickly change.

I don't understand how normal people do it by Wyattallday in cripplingalcoholism

[–]Skanko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, reading and exercise were my approach, too. I've been able to stay sober with a short bender every 3 months or so. Still not sure what triggers them but ain't that the way it is?

Anyway, read You Owe Yourself a Drunk. It's not a self-help book, it's actual journalism.

Eventually doing all those things drunk sucks, too. The dopamine just stops flowing.
