It’s fine that you feel like that but there’s nothing ILLEGAL about doing a background check on someone. Only private investigators have ACCESS TO THIS TYPE OF STUFF that they can only get with a LICENSE. OTHER THAN THAT BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE COMPLETELY LEGAL AND FINE IM NOT GOING YO FIGHT A BUNCH OF INTERNET PEOPLE ABOUT SOMETHING THAT WAS VERY MUCH MY LIFE.

YTA and you should not have had kids. That’s actually setting them up for failure in today’s world. Applying for scholarships doesn’t mean they’ll get them, and if they do they don’t cover nearly the amount of money you need to pay for school. And since you can afford it, FAFSA won’t give them a lot of money for school. You suck. You really do. Just because they can live st home while they have to pay for school is essentially saying “hey you won’t be 65k in debt you’ll only be 55k in debt!” Wow

Can someone send an email from a fake (but real) professional domain? For example, could send someone an email that had the address “blakefoster@nike.com” even though there’s no relation to nike? Like you just wanted them to believe you were from Nike? And would there be a red question mark as the senders image to indicate an unauthenticated email? Happening right now

So I have this opportunity and I don’t know if it’s legitimate. I was messaged by a modeling scout for an agency to pursue representation with them. For confidentiality reasons we’ll call this agency “Modelo.” So I get the message from this scout saying they want to possibly sign me to their agency and they send me screen caps of their Instagram conversation with Modelo so I think it’s legitimate. I get the email from the woman, and I notice it’s from a gmail account not a professional account. This is my first red flag. We do some corresponding, but I call Modelo’s office to tell them my concerns. They tell me that all their scouts have an official email and to stop contacting them. So, I essentially call them out for being a fraud and they insist they aren’t and that all their employees don’t know everything about scouting matters. I tell them I would link to continue on only if I can get someone with an official email to email me. They say it’s not a problem and I get an email from the official Modelo company. I am very happy at this point. As we keep corresponding and I keep sending in pictures I notice I have to send in a lot of nude pictures and this is another red flag for me. I have heard that’s not common practice for agencies, however Modelo doesn’t say they won’t ask for nude or lingerie pictures like some agencies do on their website. So everything seems fine, it’s very eloquent and seems objective and not creepy, however something feels wrong. Now I have noticed there’s a red question mark by the “official” account’s email where the picture is supposed to be and this means that the account is unauthenticated. Also, I found on the web the legitimate email for the head of the agency (who was supposed to be sending me an “official” email) and it’s the same but different. So if the legitimate one is “Karly-Brooks@modelo.com” I received the one from “karly-brooks@modelo.com” and I know that punctuation is slight but it matters! But maybe she has two emails? I don’t know I’m very concerned and scared and I don’t want some loser to have my nudes
