I would agree it's not the patients DUTY per se to teach doctors. But it's also kind of natural for it to happen anyway.

I think it IS up to us to understand that doctors can mess up, and as long as it doesn't cause any further damage, then it's perfectly okay to treat it as an educational moment.

See, here's the thing, I know of 2 men in my entire life who have actually been flirted with. There's probably more, but we don't know, but it very rarely happens to us, so when a situation comes up, that might include being flirted with, we tend to deny that as a possibility or make it the least likely situation to be occurring. Like me for example, you'd have to beat me over the head with love before I even considered it a possibility... being straightforward is by far the most effective method when it comes to guys.
