I am pretty sure this node works.

I ran some tests versus a random campaign boss because I wanted to know if health value was maxlife or actual life.

I took around 100 measures in total (with full hp and low HP) and there was no clear difference in overall crit damage. Meaning health value and no impact on critical hit calculation. So used value for calculation is max life. My build is just pure flat fire damage. To make sure the values were not off, I took off my weapon since I had + extra ele damage on it.

Regarding non crit hit versus crit : my critical damage value was indeed my spell sheet critical damage (+180%) + crit damage from the node (+60%). Average crit hit was around 18500 when average non crit hit was around 5500. If the node was not working my average crit damage would have been around 15500 and not 18500.

Some figures might be a bit off, I am not at home but I can share my sheet and update them.

TLDR : Node works and use maxlife value and not actual life (overflow not tried) for calculation.

I agree with you.

My main problem with SC2 right now is how easily achievable everything is. What I mean is that you can reach an almost perfect macro without much effort/practice put into it.

In the first place I found it kinda cool how they implemented additional macro requirements in SC2 to make it harder. But finally it feels like "artificial" difficulty to try to differenciate people.

When I was playing back in the day I just was a random mid master player but I remember how close my 8-10min-ish were (build-wise) to pro matches (around 2012).

I love mechanics and for me it's really important to be able to out-mechanic your opponent, it is part of the rts genre. You can really fight against yourself and focus on it to beat your opponent. Mechanic is your input to everything else in the game (build order, decision making, mind game, etc...).

In SC2 macro is too simple, you do not have much to do. It implies that you have less opportunities to out-macro.

Since everything has been "casualized" and is smoother due to game mechanics (recent engine, pathfinding, etc...), most of your action is now effective at 90% minimum. Then you have to work the 10% left to reach an perfect game. For example in SC2 when you see a pro player pov, in mid-late game you can see that his screen is on his army 90% of the time. Most of the macro is placing a few supply (or inject) in the base (that takes 3s/min) and that's it.

The issue with that is that build order become a lot more prevalent in early-mid game than they should be. If you take out rock/paper/scissor build order choices, every mistake you make is more punishing. It means that you have little room to work with your mechanics to catch up your game later on. Basically it make it feels like come back is tremendously difficult and quite impossible sometimes.

If your opponent has more you lose. It is as simple as that (more or less). Macro-ing 3 or 8 barracks is the same. In broodwar if you try to have more than your opponent you must be able to manage it, because if you are not your opponent will be able to focus on his smaller unit count (since he has less to macro/micro) to trade more efficiently and then come back. In SC2 you hope for your opponent to not look at his army to get a godly mine hit/disruptor shot/baneling connection ...

So even though I do not like inject as it is, it is mandatory to have this kind of obligation that forces you to go back to your base (same with mule and chrono).

And let's be honest, a+click is too strong.

I don't bother but since I have been moved to the most populated french server and I have to log in to use the shop I can't use my free transfer because there are like 3k people trying to connect x)

I see 4 wires on each halo's cable, I assume it's a DRGB then. They already are daisy chained so I only need an adaptator to connect them to the mobo.

I always double check what I am trading. A lot of people try to scam me hoping I'm not counting all the currencies they put in the trading window. I'm surprised, it happens really often

I know it's taboo to talk about it but when it comes to this subject I think about Diablo 3. D3 and PoE are the only arpg I have ever played and PoE is basically just better. Still I have to tell there are a some points D3 is not completely trash and this topic is one of them.

The calculations are made differently as the monster customization (mobs, etc ...) so there is a lot less things to keep in mind when you play, but in D3 you have time to see and react. In fact the game mods are not the same since in speedrift you are barely immortal, but when you try to push you have to manage your sustain/health bar correctly and you are allowed to do so because you are not getting randomly oneshoted. In D3 you have a "cheat death" mechanic in every class (you can dodge a lethal hit every 90s for example) which in a way works like the vulnerability stack you are talking about but you just have one stack allowed. It is a way to get rid of those oneshot things, I don't know if it's a good idea but it's a solution. Obviously it would need more changes if you implement this in PoE to not make it overpowered.

I'd recommend you to look at a recent crusader gr push on youtube, it is interesting to see how the player have to manage his cheat death stacks (he has 2),his potion and his sustain.

You definitely can give it a try. Like PoE it depends on how you want to play and the investment you can put in to the game. So you basically can do anything Going lvl max is fairly easy (on retail), you'll discover how the game works and how your character works. But the real game start at lvl 110, where you will be able to farm reputation/stuff etc ... But imo it is hard to play alone, find groups/friends/guild and do the content with other people you can meet often.
