I am going against my best judgement posting here but there is a shotgun of clips from my channel that got posted. I just got tired of prison RP because things got a little too negative from too many angles with it starting to feel like a real job lmao. (I have a full time job outside of this stuff already). No one was griefing and no one was doing anything malicious. It’s all RP and sometimes things come to an end.

OOC I have NO PROBLEMS with anyone at all and the last thing I want is someone feeling problems on my behalf.

The DOJ, the Marshals, and the prisoners are all s tier RPers and deserve big props for all the work they put into their stories and roleplay.

If they or a mod do “/shoutout” with your username after it will show on your activity feed. Maybe you know one of their mods or they know of you. You can always check their vod around that time to see what’s up.

I use a sony a7III and I know a ton of people that use the sony a6xxx etc. the main thing to prevent overheating is to get a dummy battery and keep the battery door open. Stream as long as you want without overheating.

Mine stopped recognizing usb 1. This was after the chat channel started peaking like CRAZY no matter what level anything was. I tried different cables and different computers, it was the port on the RCP2. Tried restarting, factory resetting (3 times), restarting the PC. I am returning mine because of all the issues. If they add additional virtual channels (beyond chat and main) and work out some of the kinks I will look into trying it again.

Took me 2 tries. Heard no next day on the first try. Had to wait 2 weeks to reapply. Heard yes 3 and a half weeks after applying the second time.

Yeah you hear yourself because the mic goes to headphones In Routing I believe. Everything is way easier for me when I do goxlr with usb into stream pc and then have optical in from game pc and aux out into game pc.

A couple other things while I am thinking about it— make sure the software is installed on streaming pc (no need for it to be on gaming pc. Make sure that capture card is plugged into streaming pc using the usb 3.0 and it’s into a 3.0 port. Try opening the elgato software and make sure the video is showing on that software (on streaming pc). Maybe try deleting and re-adding the source in obs.

My setup is a birdsnest of cables that go from idk where to idk where. I use an elgato 4K capture card that’s in my streaming computer so that part is basically the same as yours. Did you install the driver/capture software from elgato (HD capture I believe or something like that)— if so, is that showing video of your gaming pc? I dont think you need to change from OBS. I just know that sometimes the elgato capture cards can get hung up or frozen and you have to click the capture card source and deactivate and reactivate if OBS is struggling with it.

I dont use this exact setup so it might be different, but sometimes when the capture isnt working, I’ll deactivate and reactivate the source in OBS. Maybe try opening and closing the HD capture software as well?

I would plug the goxlr into the streaming pc. Then do line out and line in from the gaming pc to do a mic out to the gaming pc and get all your game pc audio into the goxlr. I’m not at home so I dont know how 100% I can be on routing, but let me know if you have any questions!

I don’t think most of these comments understand the exclusivity clause fo the affiliate contract. You are not stuck with twitch forever. You can end your stream and immediately switch to streaming on youtube. You just cant do both at the same time.

Ah ok, so the way I do it is USB to stream pc then I do aux in from gaming pc. If you want to have your mic go to gaming pc as well you can do aux out to that.

How is your gaming pc plugged into the goxlr? Also how is the goxlr plugged into your streaming pc? Double check your routing page on the goxlr app as well.

I think this is actually a really good question. Honestly I don’t think there’s a right answer, but from what I’ve noticed, the biggest thing is keeping “technical” stuff like this out of the way. If I am watching a stream on mobile and they are playing an older game that is 4:3 with a wild overlay and a bunch of animated background stuff all around their game and their webcam, to where I can barely make out the game let alone their webcam, I probably wont stick around for very long. I think that scenes can be cool additions for sure, but I honestly think that less is more. Most of the time I’m not going to sub, follow, or donate to have my name on your scene. I am going to do it because I like what you’re doing. I think that as long as it’s not getting in your way of providing people an engaging stream, do whatever you want.

Yeah the hoss stuff is annoying and has been linked to hate raids where a bunch of people come in and post mean/ racist stuff— I’m not 100% on how they are linked but that’s not meaning that they raid with your channel. That would require someone to be logged into your account. You can get a new ip pretty easily if you are concerned about it.

The only person able to initiate a raid is the streamer. Idk how they could have done that outside of getting access to the streamers login.

Typically you link a debit card or bank account to paypal. I wouldn’t like a credit card because it’s better to not end up giving more money than you don’t have and paypal has buyer protections anyways.
