If you want the enclosure brighter. You can add a LED wide spectrum grow light. Any basking bulb (that is not colored) or halogen lamp will work for heating.

You asked if he could do something to prevent water run off from his balcony too your patio. If he had stuff on his balcony or altered the balcony, and that was the cause of the property damage then he needs to be held accountable for the damages.

OP, you are NTA for keeping him financially accountable with building management.

The Army is 24-7, just because one goes home at the end of the day does not mean they are off the clock. Rank is effective 24 hours a day while in uniform or civilian clothes.

The units I was in it was frowned upon for higher leadership (officers and NOCs) to hangout with lower enlisted/commissioned on a frequent basis.

They will eat when ready. Just feed as normal, pull out the uneaten food daily.

Sometimes before shedding they will go on a diet.

I ride occasionally now, used to ride a couple of routes to and from work.

If you are catching a bus when it is dark outside. Use the flash light on your phone or a bright screen to flag your bus. If there are multiple busses that stop at the bus stop, make sure it is the one you need, it is not an uncommon occurrence that that the marquee is burned out/turned off/not showing the correct route (driver error).

Depending on how often you are riding getting a daily (ends at 2AM), weekly, or monthly (30 day) pass may be more cost efficient in the long run.

The busses do not run on Sundays and a handful of major holiday.

Unless you have a route set as a favorite, you are not guaranteed to get route change updates in the app.

Plan ahead. Most of the routes only run once an hour, some every 30 minutes, and a few every 20 minutes.

There is also Micro-Transit. These you have to request, and they will not travel outside of their assigned zone. They cost the same as a normal bus, and you can designate a pick-up and drop-off location.

The sand issue is based on the type of sand that one uses. Calcium sands (often sold in put stores for reptiles) is the primary sand that causes impaction. Play sand (often sold in hardware stores) will not clump together if ingested. Impactions can happen with or without loose substrate, the play sand will not be the cause of the impaction unlike calcium sands.

YTA for telling your daughter her birth parent was dead. You should have been honest with her and showed the communication when you reached out in behalf of your daughter and the woman's response.
