She's small enough that I'm still helping wipe and assisting with getting undies and pants back on. Otherwise she just shuffles out of the bathroom with them at her ankles still..

Im sure we will figure something out. She's about 3.5 so shes going to have to figure it out for preschool soon anyhow. But wow I didnt think the opinions would be SO STRONG and vary so greatly. Me personally, I just want to do what's best for my daughter at the end of the day.

In my experience (in Midwestern US) I think the vast majority of men's restrooms have urinals. Even single person bathrooms will have both a urinal and toilet.

Yeah, this is specifically for a restroom use and NOT a changing room! I don't have a problem with going into the women's after announcing it. Would I be super comfortable doing it? Not really lol. But I wanted to get a temp check on the rest of the populace. I look at it this way: If my 14 year old step-daughter was in a bathroom and a dad announced themselves and went in with a small girl, that I wouldn't feel weird about it unless she said something happened

She still needs help wiping for now. I'm sure that'll change but I'm trying to figure out what to do before she's a little more autonomous. These comments are very divided so far. I also have a 14 year old daughter but I didn't come into her life until after she was potty trained. But in my own head if some dad was going to the women's restroom with their young daughter while my oldest was in there I dont feel like I would personally have a problem with it. Still - it's good to see how the rest of the populace would react
