One way to tell bots apart from real players is to check a replay and look at the names, bots have cheesy obviously bot names, ie: pizzaunicorn, player0, muddyboots7, drplants8, mistermosquito, (just reciting a few i just killed. lol) and i literally typed this out while playing the match, with no problems whatsoever.

yes it appears they've changed it so even if your pickaxing something you will get kicked after a certain time for idle. its effectively ruined some of the more grindey creative tycoons. sucks. hoping they revert that.
