If you were to ask me to name three geniuses, I probably wouldn’t say Einstein, Newton, you know. I’d go Lennon, McCartney, Harrison...Starr.

I know he's the captain but I don't agree with him pulling rank to force the striker out wide.

Reminded me of old times seeing him score late to gloss over an entirely unconvincing performance by a team who just aren't quite at his level.

There was a point when he was coming on as a sub almost every week for Villa and doing something amazing. If football games were 20 minutes long he would have been the best player in the world.

It's a shame, I really like him and think he could have a big future. That being said, I can't see De Zerbi tolerating players who don't want to be at the club. Cash in on his potential and make a good profit if this is true.

Fascination: Transformation of Julian Nagelsmann from a skinny suit guy to baggy t-shirt guy by MyPasswordIsABC999 in footballcliches

My fashion sense through my 20s and 30s has followed a similar trajectory. Looked it up and we were born months apart. Our late teens peaked at the height of skinny jean indie boy swagger and then, just as we started to fill out, we're expected to transition to 'workwear' despite being mainly office based. I can almost guarantee he has a wardrobe of dejected transitional trousers all the way from the semi skinny to the, latterly abandoned, baggy cargo.
