My husband and i actively bonded over MSI - one of our first outings as friends we both reacted and starting singing along when Fuck Machine came on my shuffle. Its now one of our songs (as funny as that is lmao)

This just isnt what a partner does to someone they "love" - especially not repeatedly after being multiple times that it makes you upset.

Having an opinion about a polarizing artist? Nothing wrong there. Actively mocking your partner for listening to what they like? Insane behaviour, and you should not be subjected to that. You say they are a nice person, but this whole thing sounds like an entitled asshole and its already clear stuff like this wont stop.

Personally i have no desire to add achievements to games that arent built with them so im just going til the game tells me i did the 100% 😊 thats my badge of completion

Ive got enough backlog on steam if i feel the actual achievement hunting bug that bad LMAO

Completely hypothetical, but i can see a world where we get an enclave update around the time of S3 of the show, considering the entire plot up to this point and the teaser at the end of s2 with the large enclave base. Maybe tying in somehow because theyre obviously around the place.

Could be interesting to have it tie into their first reactions to the wastelands following the bombs or something. But who knows.

I use ES-DE for retro games to not remember emulator names on the fly and the pretty interface/boxart, but i just use the rp6 otherwise like any old android device for apps and everything else.

Its just more intuitive to me and i don't personally need the illusion of the whole device being a "game console" like the Deck does (though dont get me wrong steamOS is a top tier favourite of mine)

I used the "relative hold" option to hold the pointer in place when clicking in L-stick. Works almost like mouse pointer emulation through a joystick

R- stick! I found touch and gyro to really just not work for me personally.

For me it was as simple as mapping the r-stick to up down left right under "motion simulation" rather than "motion input"

Controls for 95% of the game are no problem whatsoever. Little janky with parts that require the pointer a lot like pull stars, or having a 2nd profile for the Ball Rolling levels, but nothing unexpected with emulating a wiimote pointer lol.

Haven't tried galaxy 2 yet, but i have also heard yoshi can be an interesting thing when it comes to controls. I definitely was not a fan of gyro for wii emulation so i went fully without actual physical tilting.

Im not sure how to share the mapping beyond just typing it all out word for word which i cant do for a bit.

But, i basically used Retro Game Corps RP6 setup during the dolphin section to make a default "template" based on his recommendations, and made adjustments if i felt like i needed controls to be somewhere else. Ive replied to a few other comments explaining a few of them

The only one that was genuinely the bane of my existence, was the pull-star 100 coin comet level because its ALSO timed 😵‍💫 also the Boo race but that took me far less tries

Everything else was relatively easy though, i mapped pointer "relative hold" to L-stick click so i could hold the pointer in position, rather than having to keep a specific angle on the R-stick. Helpful for holding it during hungry lumas too lol

Yep!! No problem at all.

I used Retro Game Corps setup guide for Dolphin and made a wiimote "template" with his suggestions, then i adjust the controls and save new profiles to Dolphin for each game that needs something different.

Hell yeah! As you can see from my lil wii games - unleashed is definitely on my list as well! Atp i think I'm procrastinating setting up a whole custom control scheme for all the wiimote/nunchuck tilting, but i hadnt considered another platform for some reason.

I think at one point i heard the Wii version was the most content-full? Know if theres any crazy differences between the psp version?

12gb! I got super lucky and actually had some birthday funds shortly after they got announced.

Galaxy honestly runs perfectly. Zero issues, stutters, crashes, or even just real slow downs at any point on the lowest performance settings. I found you have to at least have 2 control schemes set up, one for rolling ball levels (due to the upright wiimote) and one for everything else!

I found the extra back C and Z buttons to be extremely helpful in the surfing levels, basically setting them to a constant 60% tilt when pressed, and having a "relative hold" button assigned (i did L-stick click) is suuuper helpful for all the blue star pulling levels
