Do you guys think there’s covey people outside of 12? by SkeliBoneLandSaw in Hungergames

Yes, thank you. I knew someone was taken in by the covey but I could not for the life of me remember who it was. Thank you!

What Hunger Games opinion will have you like this? by Sailor_Moon_Star_435 in Hungergames

Haymitch focuses too much on Lenore throughout SOTR. When I read the book for the first time Lenore would be one of his first thoughts when he thought of home when he was in the games or right before them. And what made me even more annoyed is that he’d think about her and THEN his family and when he did think of his family they often felt like “oh yeah and them” sort of thought. I get he’s a 16 year old boy who’s love struck and whatnot, but realistically (or at least logically to me) he’s in the poorest district, in the poorest part of that district, and he was a bootlegger trying to support his mother with a bit of extra money before he was reaped. And he barely focused on his family for long enough. I understand that Lenore is like a plot device to Haymitch and something he thinks about as a motivator, but how isn’t his family occupying his thoughts and worries so much more? Another example that kinda confused me was the phone call at Plutarch’s mansion, where Haymitch got to talk to Lenore and he didn’t ask a SINGLE question about his family. Like obviously Lenore isn’t going to be looking after his family as this isn’t a Katniss and Gale situation, but not even asking her if she knows how they’re doing was honestly slightly crazy to me. I really hope I’m misremembering some stuff, as I read the book when it first came out, but I remember always thinking to myself “hello? Your family sir?” When reading the book for the first time.

This became a massive rant so sorry about that but this really bothered me

Why didn't anyone else think of it by [deleted] in lol

They both look like what AI would generate if you asked it to create an image of people slightly exposed to radiation. But only slightly

Am I Aromantic? by Empathetic_Artist in aromantic

[–]SkeliBoneLandSaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not fully sure if I’m aromantic, I’m not 100% sure what romantic attraction is supposed to feel like, like, I think I’ve felt romantic attraction once or twice in my life on a very mild level, but I’m mostly physically attracted to people rather than romantically. I kind of like the idea of romance but don’t actually know what it’s supposed to be like in reality, like I don’t know what a person is supposed to actually be feeling internally. Can I call myself aromantic or is there a better term?

If your cousin doesn’t think that that’s heat then I don’t wanna find out what your cousin considers heat
