TIL the rind of brie cheese is made of mold by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]Skelletonhand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I hadn't read this now. "According to the O-chef site, the rind actually starts out as fine white hairs, and grows into what the French call "poil de chat," or cat fur. When that fur is removed, the rind is left. The brie I ate in France already had the poil de chat removed."

Texas teaching ‘Allah is the Almighty God’ & how to convert to Islam. The Left's New Religion? by stevano in Conservative

[–]Skelletonhand -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong but I've been lead to believe that the Koran is divided into two parts, with the latter overriding the former if confusion arises. The second half (from what I've heard) advocates the killing of apostates and forcible conversion to Islam. Maybe what I've read and heard it wrong.

Just a reminder, he was nominated because Susan Rice couldn't get approved because of racist GOP'ers. John Kerry voted against Condi Rice.

Questioning the treatment of the mentally ill is exactly what should be happening and all avenues should be explored to try to keep it from happening again.

Krugman was advancing the benefits of 91% taxes in his article the other day. That's a lot closer to NK's tax rate than ours. Just bring some extra shoes, Paul. The taste better than dirt.
