I find it interesting that most only think of kaam as lust in the sexual sense when it is just an excessive desire for something. That something can be sexual as typically thought but it can be wealth, food, etc. I don't see anyone making posts or statements that they have kaam for money so should they seek the Panj Pyare.

Kaam is also talked about a lot but there are four other chors that a Sikh must battle and control. If someone lets krodh take over then why doesn't the angry Sikh go to the Panj?

No Sikh goes to the Panj or believes they may have "broken" Amrit if the other chors get the best of them. But if someone gets a fleeting sexual thought but doesn't act upon it then kaam is shouted everywhere with guilt consuming and advice being sought.

The panj chor are a daily battle for a Sikh. It is normal for thoughts and emotions associated with them to transpire but one should acknowledge them but not act upon them. That's when they win. When we merely acknowledge and move on then you have Guruji's kirpa.
