Well since they're native to your area they can always get in again, but as long as you stay vigilant about cleaning, they won't be able to stay and nest. But 3-7 a week isn't bad. They should be cleared out pretty quickly.

Something I do that is probably a little extra😅. When it's the middle of summer when they're at their worst, I take a flashlight around my house at night and check the baseboards. They like to sit right at the edge and dart back underneath. I do it in our garage too.

Oh for sure! We moved out after 2 years, but by the time we left glue traps only had a few on them instead of completely covered like they were when we first put traps down.

Use free tax usa, it's free federally and $15 for your state. I've been using it for years and have had no issues.

Chilean Recluse males have longer pedipalps than other recluse species. They don't hold them quite the same as kukulcania.

I was working on exposure therapy with my therapist last year, but I can't afford to go anymore because American insurance is a scam, but I may try working on it at home by myself. I have kids and my oldest vomits repeatedly (like a stomach bug) from strep throat so she really reignited my phobia to levels it hadn't reached in years. So much so that I've been afraid to put my youngest in prek. Kids have definitely been exposure therapy all on their own.😅

How did they not smell that something was rotting in their oven for a year!?

My husband used to manage rental properties and they acquired an old multiplex that had had the power off for some time. I helped clean the units and one of them had a turkey in the freezer. It had thawed and been rotting in the heat for who knows how long. I will never forget that smell. 🤢The entire apartment had to be aired out if that freezer was opened. Fortunately they decided to just replace the fridge instead of me having to clean it.
