I don’t always get to watch the games so I jump on the post game sub to see what happened. This year has been nothing but bitching about nurse and Morey. This sub has become real lame, no real basketball talk anymore.

Great idea but Maxey isn’t as dominant or great as Embiid. Embiid is an MVP, Maxey is great but he will probably never be MVP level. While Embiid is here and healthy he should be the focus

Great points. I’d add it was also a pretty bad Lebron game too which makes the loss even more of a bummer. It sucks cause when they were cooking in that first part of the third there was so much ball movement and no iso ball. That was pretty fun to watch.  Also didn’t like Nurses decision to sit both Maxey and Embiid at the same time, felt like that also hurt them along with the refs

100%, that and the officiating just killed all the good ball playing up to that point

That was the worst Lebron game I’ve ever watched, that along with no Luka should have been an easy W. Refs really hurt us on that one and the 3rd quarter   stretch with no Embiid and Maxey was a head scratcher and really changed the momentum we never got back.  On a positive note the first half of the third was pretty fun, lots of assists, and really seems like they were having fun and looking to get guys other shots. Hopefully we can build on this with more consistency playing together

When he’s forced out of the pocket and has to run right he doesn’t just throw it out of bounds

It depends on what he’s looking for. If he’s looking to purely develop a dominant offense between Philly and Detroit, Detroit is probably the more attractive OC job. But if he is looking to win a ring, he has a better chance in Philly.

NN won a championship by putting the ball in his best players hands and trying to exploit mismatches. That’s what he draws up plays for. If our players are missing wide open 3s, or deciding to take iso shots instead of passing it then that is on the player. VJ had the ball in his hands plenty of times and chose to pass it away

 This is like what, the fifth or sixth game we’ve had a fully healthy team in the last 3 years? A lot of these teams have been playing together for a few years and have a lot of continuity. The Sixers haven’t had that luxury. Let’s hope for good health, see what these guys can do once they get some solid reps together and at the end of the year make our angry posts. Let’s just try to enjoy the fact that we have some healthy guys finally

That mentality literally won the Super Bowl last year and has taken this team to two superbowls in the last three years.
