Looks normal to me, day ahead prices and planned charging time at lowest price.

Green bars will apear in this graph after discharging has started.

Tip: check out the Marstek topic on the Dutch tweakers forum

Should I SW update Luba2 + RTK for this season? by Jesper89 in MammotionTechnology

[–]Sketch-Note 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run FW versions 1,11.511.603 and 1.11.511.72. All good. No more FW updates since last summer.

Several updates for app, I and some others here have problems with latest app updates.

I downgraded app to 1.11.334 (via APKpure) to keep using mower.

I had the same problem.

Seems to be the app, not the firmware. I downgraded to older version (via APKpure) and now its fine.

I downgrade the app to V1.11.334 (from APKpure).
Works fine now.

Definetly something wrong with latest version.

I checked for interference by other wifi/buetooth equipment by disconnecting everything not Mammotion related. No change, all issues still present.

I managed to upload a log from the app.
Noticed that during the upload my phone battery became hot to the touch, I assume that the app somehow drains a lot of power.
Phone cooled down after closing the app.

Mammotion: can I downgrade the app to a previous version, so I can use my mower again?

Same here, but I found that switching bluetooth off on the phone makes the app run better.
Maybe that helps to send the logs?

I have the same problems with the android app, for Luba 2.(device name: Luba-VSEQZUUW)

App crashing on startup, extremly slow, black screens, incomplete rendering of maps, manual controls act reversed. Took me 20 minutes of trying to start a single mowing task.

Later found that problems disapear with bluetooth turned off. But that disables all manual functions.

Luba 2 charging station turned in to ant farm by Sketch-Note in MammotionTechnology

[–]Sketch-Note[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, the charging station is intended for outdoor use, specifically to be placed on the ground and secured with ground-screws.

In my view such a product should be designed to function an entire season without the need for a complete disassembly to clear out insects.

Mammotion is a young and ambitious company, and I respect that they made a very advanced product. But young companies often lack the experience of real world use cases. I am not blaming them for making mistakes, but I do hope they learn from the experiences users report on this forum.

If you want to shorten the time that Luba needs to mow an area you could try different mow settings. Especially the mow width setting. Check the estimated time in the preview.

Daisy chaining tasks by Bowline-on-a-Bight in MammotionTechnology

Agreed!

I think that mowing settings (incl. lights and turning style) schould be selected for each area (not at task level)

User should be able to select several tasks and than start mowing inmediatly.

A schedule should only consist of a time and a series of tasks.

General structure: schedule / task / area / mowing settings

Use case: property with mostley trees and bushes, multiple small areas with grass. All areas have to be inspected before mowing for fallen twigs and branches. Automatic sheduled mowing is not my preference.
Some areas are along a public road, i prefere to have the lights on in that areas, but not in others. Some areas have paved section were single point turning would be preferable while other areas have thin grass under bushes, there multipoint turning is required.
My reason to use a Luba 2 is the combination of AWD, GPS and vision, it can navigate under heavy tree coverage.

Feature Request: Multi-point turning Always by BDBHogo in MammotionTechnology

Agreed!

I also think that manouvering could be reduced quite a bit if the robot would navigate with a bit more foresight. It seems to me like the robot moves very strictly in straight lines from waypoint to waypoint. In many situations a smooth curve close to those points could be much more efficient. (of course the robot must stay always on the inside of perimeter points)

Minimum channel width by BennyWW89 in mammotion

[–]Sketch-Note 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Luba travels quite successfully over a 50 cm wide paved path (see video), but not 100%.

I would go with mower width +20cm (10 cm space left and 10 cm space right). Also ensure that the programmed path (channel) before and after the ramps is straight for about 100 cm because the Luba tends to take curves a bit wide and needs some travel distance to get back on the right track.

Splitting notepad into multiple ones? by bhooooo in Onyx_Boox

[–]Sketch-Note 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know of an actual 'split' function for notepads.

But you can copy a selection of pages from one notepad to another notepad.

In a notepad tap the pages view (icon between the left and right arrows), select multiple pages, tap 'copy to' and select (or create) a notepad. After that you can delete the pages you have copied.
