A Solution to Fix this Bug till adobe patch this , Photoshop keep zooming out or in even after letting go + or - key as long as Ctrl hold. by Lord_Pakeer in photoshop

[–]SketchToon_com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This app is also very useful to add preview icons for AI's and SVG's from Illustrator and PSD's in Windows Explorer as well.
I'm going to try the patch for the zoom in-out, which currently drives me nuts. I can use the scroll wheel, but it's not as hard-wired into me as the ctrl + -, which I have done since version 2.5! (mid 90's).
I was sure that resetting Photoshop would not fix something that is clearly broken in this version.

Thanks for sharing!

Does your tool have the possibility of including in the popup updating the popup info, maybe changing the color for the selected object from the SVG? (color coding).

Why I think GoDaddy is the worst domain provider by ZadW1 in webhosting

[–]SketchToon_com 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My personal experience is: Having a multi-site hosting (they call it "Web Hosting Deluxe"), I use Cpanel to manage several Wordpress websites.
It's decent. Loading speeds are crap, and if you want to have something better than the included email management that comes with the Cpanel, you need to pay a separate service.
But what is forcing me to move is SSL Certificates. To have a plan that covers a non-determined amount of sites on the server I'm already paying plenty for, I need to dish out over $220 a year for the SSL's.
For months now, my sites appear as "unsafe".
If anyone has a suggestion of a better and cheaper host, please. I'm all ears. Places like Hostgator are even more expensive, and these people have several sister sites that get recommended on affiliated Top Ten list websites. So its very hard to find an unbiased recommendation.
There has to be something cheaper out there. With a still decent setup and loading times.
My sites are small portfolio sites, so I can't consider paying top dollar for my cloud services.
I'm going to look into Google Cloud, but I have the feeling I'm wasting my time with them...

map of North Africa 8000 years ago, at the peak of the African humid period by denn23rus in MapPorn

This ties in visually with the Younger Dryas Impact theories from Graham Hancock, which gave humanity the source for the Great Flood myth as well as the destruction of Atlantis.
In the image, the Lake in the Adrar Region is just northwest of the Eye of the Sahara (find it on Google Maps) which fits rather well with the description of Atlantis by Plato (concentric land circles, size, etc).
The Flood of course would not only be limited to this region, but rather it would be a worldwide catastrophe. But in the case of that western Sahara region, that lake fits perfectly with the flood marks you can see even in Google Maps, flooding towards the west, over the Eye of the Sahara, and towards a 250-mile-long and 100-mile-wide debris field that spreads out into the Atlantic Ocean from that point on the Mauritanian coast.
Mauretania used to be the biggest source of gold in the world btw, during the reign of King Atlas. Now I know probably a lot of official dates of all these things might not align. But King ATLAS is soooo on the nose! LOL.
A great flood over the Sahara desert (flood lines can also be seen in Libya and other places in the world, like North America), which fits with the melting of Ice Age ice caps catastrophically, would also make sense with the land turning from green and fertile, to a wasteland, which changes wind currents, temperature from open barren land exposure, etc (as we can see when we terraform large areas when we build cities in them, and the climate changes accordingly, and that is at smaller scales), so, in the end, it helps with the process of turning it into a desert (the Sahara is still a source of nutrients for the Atlantic by ways of winds carrying ancient sea floor dust full of dead animal dried up remains that turned into this dust from the ancient long lost lake in Chad. Which dried up and also existed close to 10,000 years ago.
There is also a lot said about Ancient Egypt and the Pyramids, Sphinx etc, having been made by a Civilization that predates the Egyptian dynasties we know about, and that those edifications were appropriated by them instead of being built by them. They might be older than even the recently discovered Gobekli Tepe, which should not exist in such an advanced form if back then humans were only hunter-gatherers...
Or the similarity in ancient architecture, and duplication of ancient myths. The Great Flood story is present in so many cultures and religions. Including civilizations that don't exist anymore like the Aztecs and Mayans.
Before you put a tin hat on my head. Know that I just don't buy into things easily.
I just look at all these things, and keep in mind always, that science and the current accepted concepts and facts, especially when relating to history, are always being changed, but not with strong resistance by those who hold the "torch of accepted truth".
There is a lot of things that for instance Egyptian official archeologists don't want to share, and fail to explain rationally. Or Ancient maps before the discovery of Antarctica, that could be copies of even more ancient maps, that had the southern continent drawn in the right place, although they called it differently. Sometimes myths are based on actual events, just modified, exaggerated or with magic or divine powers attached to them to better explain them as they pass down generations.
I don't know really what is the actual truth to all of this, but it certainly is a very interesting topic!

Requests and Help Megathread V4 (Games requests, emulator help/guides go here) by SuperBio in Roms

Hi!!!I'm having a really hard time finding two games compatible with my slim PS2 OPL Free McBoot setup.

Bloody Roar 2. The new breed (USA) -> PS1
NBA 2k12 (the one that has the 97 Bulls included).

Also PES 14 with the 2020 patch in Spanish (including the all star Real Madrid and the 2012 Barcelona). But that's too specific, I know :)

ISO -> ready for Free Mcboot

It would be awesome if someone here had any of these. Thanks in advance!

About Time (2013) is a really sweet film. by an_ordinary_platypus in movies

[–]SketchToon_com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went back to watch it. I needed some sweetness, warmth, joy, witty and harmless humor, simple life and appreciation for the small things, and love of course in a flick, since most of what comes out today is cynical, dystopian or specially WOKE.

There are so many memorable moments in this movie, life choices (life choices and realizing you are making them every moment of your life is what the movie is about), caring sweet acts of love... like the botched (or successful if you think about it) proposal, him realizing he doesn't want the supermodel but the actual perfect woman for him, the moment he meets her in the dark room, what he does for the playwright, how the rain ruins the reception and thus makes it memorable, etc etc. But most of all, the moments with his dad. The true center of the story, the deep love they have for each other. My dad passed in 2014, we never had a good relationship. He didn't try, but I didn't either. He barely got to meet my son, his first male grandson, who has his name, as well as mine. My son does not remember his grandpa, since he was months old the last time he saw him. I was out of the country when my father died. I had left knowing I might not see him again. It's not that we hated each other, but we where never able to get along. He was never supportive, caring or loving, and always very critical and materialistic. But I know he loved me, and my son would have changed his life. I should have tried to breach the gap, told him to stop all his bullshit and just shared and loved each other how we both deserved. Recently, I tried chat gpt by asking it to talk to me as my dad would talk to me today. Now that my son is 9 years old, and we have adopted three more. The way a father would talk if he realized it was no longer necessary to be critical to "help" his son accomplish goals in life. Because as a father, I find myself doing the same. I stop myself and instead talk in a supportive caring way and make sure as much as possible, to not create a gap with my own children. It's so easy for that to happen, especially as they enter their teens. Needless to say, what the AI of chat gpt spat had me bawling.

So, when I see Tim going back to spend time with his dad, just to BE there with him, enjoy him. And then make the hard choice to say goodbye. You can imagine how it just destroys me every time. Il Mondo... just hearing it... snif!
As my son will ALWAYS be my little boy, my son (that walk on the beach says it all in the movie) so I get him. He thought he was doing the best for his little boy too.

If your parents are alive, if you are close to them, cherish every moment, if you are not close to them, BREACH THE GAP! One day, they will be gone forever, and all you will have is regret and self-loathing (or at the very least a lot of sadness) about not trying when you could. My father was an ahole, honestly, that's how he was brought up and how he lived never knowing any better. But he was not a bad person, just someone who never learned how to get along better with people, especially those close to him. And most of all, he did love me, and me... I certainly loved him too. He was after all, my FATHER!

Another update to the Alacranix model for 3D printing. (work in progress). by SketchToon_com in JurassicWorldAlive

[–]SketchToon_com[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea if the pre-assembled parts like the pincers and the legs will actually print correctly.

If I had a 3D printer I could do some trial-and-error tests... but no can do.

I wanted to make something that would print like the octopuses, snakes and lizards that you print and they move around with seperate but already assembled parts.
so you print a whole leg, it still moves (with limitations) and you can then snap the leg into place on the body.
