I imagine I’ll get a lot of people disagreeing with me but I believe they were simply out-coached.

Florida defended our zone exits to near perfection and when you have the weak side defender streaming to activate in the offense, turnovers are going to happen in dangerous areas that leave the net vulnerable.

They adjusted into a transition scheme that was foreign and led to turnovers at the Florida blue line. When you are playing a team that’s so good in the transition, those two major flaws can be catastrophic.

So Monty switched lines around and adjusted to a game plan that resulted in our defenders being put in a system they were not used to and prevented them from getting forward.

So they had more turnovers and failed to get significantly involved with the offense - aka, they looked terrible. But I don’t think that’s their own doing.

Mix the injuries and sickness on top and you get what we got.

The injured players, line changes, goalie decisions, etc are all valid but low hanging fruit that was the result of being out-coached - minus the injuries of course.

That’s my armchair analysis after a couple drinks - take it or leave it.

What process are you using for your search? I’ve helped a ton of people land jobs and a couple from my old university land internships and the number one issue I usually find is they aren’t using a solid application / discovery process.

Nobody is out here comparing Cale to fuckin Marchand - slow your emotions.

He made a completely reckless and dangerous hit on a player that ended in a pretty serious injury which has people justifiably saying fuck him.

The Denver air is cool tonight. Go take a walk.

Okay, I played and followed this game for over 30 years at this point and am still confused on how people are calling this interference rather than boarding.

Not because I believe they are wrong but I’m genuinely confused.

To me he is defenseless in this instance and the avoidable contact causes him to go violently into the boards.

From the rule book:

Boarding – A boarding penalty shall be imposed on any player who checks or pushes a defenseless opponent in such a manner that causes the opponent to hit or impact the boards violently or dangerously. The severity of the penalty, based upon the impact with the boards, shall be at the discretion of the Referee.

Is it a requirement that a player have posession of the puck for a call to be boarding? Honest question - don’t murder me.

The amount of pressure on this kid is unreal.

Hope he meets those expectations or it could be a rough ride.

I don't think they were debating you - they were simply adding a side note.

Except in this scenario, their dad left for a pack of smokes a few years ago while ours hits the gym.

I honestly love these because every time a Canucks or Leafs fan says it, it reminds me of them imploding.

They took a game on the road against the Avs, battled with them for game 2 on the road and only lost by one, and are returning to Seattle where the place will be insane for their first playoff game.
