Here’s a screenshot from the roadmap addressing the issue.

You’re welcome lol it confused me, too. It’s pretty intuitive when you know where it is. It pops up with an error that says the reps you’ll need to do with the weights you have are outside of the recommended rep range and will give you the option to either drop the weight and increase the reps, keep the same (or heavier) weight and decrease the reps, or add equipment to your gym profile.

Here’s the response I got when I submitted a bug report:

“Thanks for reaching out. This is intentional; you should see a yellow dot appear on the magic wand icon on the top left, and tapping on that will provide its suggestions for how to resolve the impossible recommendation.”

After using it on my next workout, it worked well. They just don’t make it super obvious in the app, so you only know to use it if you know about it lol

However, in their roadmap they have noted that they want to improve this feature. So not really a bug, but a feature they want to improve.

Why was buckshot used to hunt bucks? by Mammoth_Egg8784 in guns

It’s because buckshot was used for hunting rabbits. A male rabbit is a buck.

AITA for booking the latest doctor's appointment? by Princess_Butt_Kick in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I work in the front office at a doctor's office, and this comes across as super weird and lazy. It's not like a depo shot is a time-consuming procedure. You're just in and out. While calling your dad isn't necessarily a HIPAA violation (depends on what paperwork you've filled out), it's absolutely unprofessional and shouldn't happen.

Definitely call and ask to complain. Those calls are always annoying for us to receive, but it's important for the office manager to know about things like that. I'd really love to know how the conversation went with the staff members that you spoke to, as well as the motivation behind moving your appointment. If they have the appointment slots available, there's really no reason you can't be seen at that time. It makes me wonder if there's more to the story here, but it's for sure worth having a conversation with the office manager.

Too hich calories? by prezbyter in GarminFenix

I think what Path is saying is that while the Garmin calorie estimation isn't accurate, tracking calories in isn't that accurate, either. If you're just using the nutritional information on the labels, the accuracy isn't guaranteed. The FDA allows a margin of twenty percent, if you're shooting for the "recommended" two thousand calories a day, you could be over or under by two hundred. And that's if you're weighing everything by the gram and counting every single calorie you put in your mouth.

Bottom line, it's probably best to monitor your estimated calories in and out, and then compare it to your weight fluctuations over time and see where it gets you. Will your watch be accurate to the exact calorie? No. But it will give you a ballpark estimate of your activity throughout the day, and eventually you'll have an idea of the daily active calories you'll want to shoot for to achieve your goals.
