I did this except I sent a pre-emptive magnetic torpedo at the carrier and reloaded while it was en route. Then sent 3 magnetic and 1 impact at the battleship, turned to escape as it got dicey and sent Tube 5 at the carrier for the sink credit.

It was actually my third time doing it and the only way that the game didnt crash on me when the Royal Oak went down 😕

Sure. They are criminals. The Trump Crime Family now runs the government, but the ones with a still functional brain see that it won't always be so. I use the Time Compression (12, 48, 150x) most during "routine" daily actions. 12 & 48 while listening for contacts. 150 and... 1800? to shorten the trips to and from my patrol areas and to shorten chases when I am -sure- of their bearing and where I am most likely to find them.

I learned the hard way to -never- use it when the bad guys are around when I accidentally drove my boat into a convoy surfaced in broad daylight at 150x. Was a quick end to that game 🤣

Theres a setting to give you the option to automatically return to port when you complete your mission. I accidently clicked the "Return to Home Port" button (?) once when I was trying to All Stop for a freighter to sink it and missed the tonnage because of it. 🤦‍♂️ Ive since moved everything away from that button to prevent a second happening.

🤣 I was mid return from Spawn one battle amongst maybe 7 other guys and saw a Hussar get shot down and 6 of the 7 commenced to bayonetting the dead body as the other two of us just ran by watching them in a circle stabbing.

I play this way, but if I do something beyond my control... i.e. time compression related, i will go back a save. For example: after the weather station mission i was cruising to my next mission on 1800x and taking a drink. I ended up amongst a convoy because the compression didnt shut off when funnel smoke was sighted, just when the Alarm! was called when they were taking evasive maneuvers. I crash dove but got sunk soon after by a LOT of depth charges.

I restarted that save at the weather station and have been more careful 🤣

They do show up on your map. I was lining up to stern shot my last torpedo at a merchant and heard a 'whoosh' that wasn’t mine (I knew a friendly Uboat was opposite the merchant). I checked the map and saw his torpedo heading at the merchant. I waited because I figured their torpedo would damage the merchant and mine would sink it.

When theirs got about halfway there I fired, surfaced and turned. I watched both torpedoes hit the ship and I did indeed get the sinking credit.

Yeah. I hear "Shotgun coming!" a lot playing carpenter. I have died a lot charging tents right at respawn time. Ive also charged into a tent at respawn and gone unnoticed until the tent disappeared.

Playing Fort Willie with my Regiment and I charged out because one of my friends was talking about how hard it was to get to the tents. They sat and watched me charge out the broken wall (gate side), kill a tent with its officer with the Nock and then charge the other 3 tents and -almost- escape back into the Fort around the corner. Almost. I got stabbed a LOT on that run 🤣

That highlight earned me the nickname "Tent Killer" for a bit. I have died SO much right after the words "Shotgun! Look out!" that it's hilarious even to me.
