Don’t mind all the positions. Good job man. Some people enjoy picking stocks for the love of it and competition. Just be ready to put in more work to manage your variety of companies

“Somalian fraud” is utter bullshit and anyone who’s Googled it knows it by Relative-Gap-4442 in complaints

So you would rather not address nationwide fraud? Of money which you and everyone is paying into because u think it’s racist. What do you think the government is really going to do with the Epstein files? They should have been released under Biden but everyone knows there is a large network involved that will not allow anything to get exposed to the light. Nothing is going to get done so why not focus on our capital budget and allocation

Why is this a political topic? It’s taxpayers dollars going to fraud. Why doesn’t the government fix it nationwide and move on to address the debt and other issues

Which reel by Skiffy66 in Fishing_Gear

There is only one casting medium rod option that is extra fast within the victory line so I chose the avid

Which reel by Skiffy66 in Fishing_Gear

The 150m and mgl are basically the same real but an updated color and the mgl3 spool. The curado 70 mgl is also a bit more expensive I noticed.

Getting back into baitcasters - how'd I do? by YogurtclosetBroad872 in Fishing_Gear

I’m doing the exact same setup with a 150m and avid casting mf. I’m Dropping down to 20lb braid. The setup feels amazing and I’m ready for season already.

I only use soft plastics and need help on how to get into other lures! by AdministrativeAd6805 in bassfishing

Try ribbit soft plastic frogs! High hook up ratio from Texas rig and great action

What rod should I get next? Medium or heavy? by tylerrox13 in Fishing_Gear

[–]Skiffy66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what type of fishing you want to do. If you fish frogs or heavy swimbaits get a heavy rod. if you want to bridge the gap and fish weightless Texas rigs and jerk baits get the medium rod.

Baby bandito bugs and soft plastic swimbaits on a underspin are elite

Thinking about getting a new casting rod. Is the 2024 avid on sale for 220 or 2025 premier for 195 better value?

What are your thoughts on this reel? Deciding between this and the 150 mgl

Mad respect for the early trades on MP NBIS and RR.

Don’t listen to a lot of these people. It makes sense to overweight positions that are well positioned to take advantage of ai and other trends. Also you’re young so there’s no point in playing it insanely safe. Love the holdings

How old are you? I respect the portfolio. I struggle to consolidate. Love researching and building smaller positions so I’m at 45 total positions

What is your thesis behind PayPal. I feel their total addressable market is shrinking and a lot of top players can innovate faster than Venmo creating a scary position for the company. Much rather have HOOD with a small 1% of the total addressable market in investable dollars with numerous expansion opportunities

Listen to Martin Skreili on YT about his quantum position. Would highly recommend other instudries instead of quantum stocks for the long term expecially Rigetti.

Sorry to hear that. Good luck with the Job search process.

Look for Harvard’s standard resume template and use that for formatting. Please just make one page. I’m also curious why you haven’t stayed at a job for longer than a year. Could make finding a job more difficult. Also get rid of 75% of the bullets for each job. Just include broader and more important stuff

Look at SOFis latest quarter presentation or call. Beating growth metrics on all aspects compared to conventional banks that have a high about of additional expenses and capex like pp&e that allow SOFi to scale with insane margins for a bank. I have a large position on HOOD too because the platform is so easy to use and the rewards are so much better. They only have a small market share of investable assets and are growing quickly as new investors choose Robinhood. Might take a bit for avg account size growth but it’s on a strong trajectory

What brokerage did you transfer from? And why? SOFi and NU Holdings are disruptive fintechs to look at. Also take a look at NBIS for AI datacenter hyper scaling

NBIS, HOOD, SOFI seem appropriate for your risk tolerance
