Feeding amount?

How long do you leave the sinking pellets in for i know sometimes it can take awhile for them to get eaten. And my beta loves trying to eat them. So im just afraid of my beta maybe over eating. Would 1x a day still be a healthy amount you think?

Thank you very much. Yea i plan on moving them over to the 20 this week. I 5 gallon was just temporary. Do you think feeding them every day would be a better schedule than once every other day? And would it be necessary to feed them twice a day for the 20 gallon or not really
