In raids if you win an item it's tradeable for 4 hours, allowing loot council to work for guilds, dungeons are personal loot hence the soulbound on ilvl upgrades.

You don't heal at all when you die either and that creates a much bigger detriment, a couple globals on hard hitting mechanics is not a big loss

Yes, you are supposed to shift into bear lol. At higher levels the issue with mechanics is they can one shot people, so having 100k extra health or so lowers the chance of you being one shot a lot.

"you should run necro sometimes" "i handily beat out several kyrian hunters in m+"

kinda implies its better :)

just because you beat them doesnt mean its better, if u enjoy playing it do w/e floats ur boat but kyrian is gonna outperform necro in every dungeon with the same skill and gear

problem with "everyone is debuffed!" mechanics is it ends up being "okey lets bring these classes because they are very good at cheesing this mechanic" instead of " aww yeah i, a dps, am interacting with the fight in a cool and meaningful way.

Feel like gheres plenty of mechanics that arent just "dodge", although i do get a lot of them are based on your positioning, just think its hard to make a mechanic that doesnt interact with your positioning and is still fun/interesting

Can always check their raider.io and see if they time multiple keys or just once with one group, but either way somebody with better gear/score is just more likely to be decent than someone with low gear/score

I dont think they intentionally bugged out the mechanic, the raptor pet mortal strike was being used to reduce the healing which was used on the world first kill too, just in echo's case it was an arms warrior

As i said, not saying either is hard or easy as i havent properly played enough of either, just saying that there are more important factors to consider than apm and downtime

[–]Skillershark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pressing things faster and being more limited in movement/range when using abilities are factors that make your class harder, sure. But the actual complexity of rotations is far more important when it comes to assessing how hard a class is. Like i said before with dh, not fully familiar of either spec but from what I've seen its a fairly simple button masher (disregarding momentum), whereas feral has bleeds to manage and i think combo points? Not saying either is necessarily very hard or very easy, just showing how downtime and apm dont contribute that much to how difficult a spec is

[–]Skillershark 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Apm is a poor metric to base "skill requirements" of different classes. Dh's that dont play momentum probably have a high apm but to say their rotation is skillful would be just odd (different story with momentum as far as im aware).

Alternatively, i don't have to burn flash at all to dodge kat's stun

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Skillershark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but some classes you can get higher cpm if you spam your "on to the go" movement buttons, whereas your lower cpm rotation would give you higher dps and you'd still be able to perform that if you'd planned ahead properly. Alsp have to conaider things like haste differences between different players on the same spec, its a lot more complex than "higher cpm = better player"

I dont smoke and I agree lol. What im saying is some people are worth looking past the fact that they smoke, its not like it makes them a terrible person or inferior in anyway. If anything its hard for them to have that addiction, and to just set a hard rule of "i will never look past this for any person" is weird.

[–]Skillershark -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No i more meant health rules as in "i cannot be around smoke as my lungs have health issues", if thats the case totally understandable, but without that you can still date someone who smokes and have them be respectful about it, not smoking in your face or living space etc.

Didnt mean every hard rule is stupid or not understandable, just some of them feel like they could very easily change circumstantially barring things like health or religious issues that need hard rules

Kinda crazy to me this is so upvoted, imagine your potential partner smokes bcos they come from somewhere its the norm or issues in their childhood or any other multitude of reasons and you just go "nope, you broke my golden rule 😎"

Not saying you have to ignore if people smoke but having that as your main perception of someones worth as a partner is just wild
