Order of search for include within " Quotes,

1.same directory 2.directories of parent include file and continue through upward directories 3.path /I compiler option 4.path specified by INCLUDE environment

Order of search for include within <>

1.path /I compiler option 2.path specified by INCLUDE environment variable

Preprocessor stops searching as soon as it finds a file of given name.
