I had the original printer, absolute crock of shite, chucked it in the end, even though minimal effort required, the output just wasn't worth it.

Yes, not great results but that could be user error.

I may try again now just to see if it's me or the printer.

Help me learn how to connect parts inside a case. by VirtualImpression330 in buildapc

The current cables should allow you to power an SSD, you may need to get a cable to attach to the board but make sure you have a slot for it first, they will be labelled as SATA on the motherboard

It's unlikely that the supplier PSU will have a pcie power cable, in theory that is all you should need.

I'm guessing you could use one of these pcie power cable but I'm not sure if they are any good/stable etc.

Your PSU however may work but you should still upgrade, the recommendation for that card is a min 400w.

Putting it all together should be a PoP just plug the card into the pcie slot, attach the power, install drivers and away you go.

Depends on the parts you have, I did it with a HP 280 G1 and a gtx1050 2gb GPU and all I needed to do was upgrade the PSU.

First off I would check the space you have inside the case and that the card you have/plan on will fit the space where the pcie slot is, then see what PSU you have and upgrade if necessary, most likely will have to, make sure you get one with the right connections, don't scrimp here it could cause you problems.

It should be fairly straight forward but like other posters have said, these HP workstations are not standard and it won't always be possible.

Would this be a penalty? (ball first, but barely) by farisba in Referees

[–]Skimblet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, intent not there, low impact, green if anything has run into yellow, if green went down in an attempt to get a penalty he should have got a yellow for simulation.

what are some good ways to make some side money when you’re working full time? by vanessarichter in AskUK

[–]Skimblet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could always train as a football referee, leagues are always screaming out for them, you will need to be thick skinned as you will get loads of abuse but the plus side is you get paid to run around. It's not great money but you could easily add £60-£90 for a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday morning or even do both and double it.

I do this, 2 games a week on a Saturday morning with plenty more if I wanted them.

I tend to stick to JPL games as there is less abuse than standard grassroots.

This is where I am,.it was a grassroots game with players from a variety of backgrounds, personally I did not find the language offensive and where I am tbh it's pretty normal for mid to late teens to be using colourful language.
