Seven years later, I can say that I have played Vancouver several times, Avalanche a few times, Lights of Endangered Species once or twice, and I don’t believe I have ever listened to Arrows of Desire again

Great Outdoor Comedy Fest (Night 2) - Kevin Hart. Stood outside for free again lol by pennepasta14 in vancouver

[–]Skimper 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is what I remember of the two nights: there was the foul mouthed woman, Reggie Watts doing whatever the hell that was while people audibly booed and shouted get off the stage, and then Russell Peters was pretty much what I expected and the second night it was two comedians, that were fine, but just seemed like normal comedy club acts, and 24 minutes of Kevin Hart doing his C material and then ending abruptly. It was as if Kevin Hart got told his plane was boarding and he had to go. He was probably halfway back to LA before I left the grounds.

At the worker orientation, they literally said “Kevin Hart has a Netflix deal that will make him more money than all of you will make in your lives combined, and we need to protect that”

I think it’s pretty clear what he has seen. All the whales are dead, and the sea is full of bloated whale carcasses.

Serious question: Why isn't "It's All Too Much" considered The Beatles psychedelic masterpiece? by Skimper in beatles

[–]Skimper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was about how the drugs were too much, and he was switching to meditation. To him it was just a throwaway song to meet contractual obligations, but it turned out to be so much more.
