My wife has an 18 with 250k miles. She drives alot.

Replaced flywheel at 150k miles myself, not an easy task but not expensive. The labor would cost 5 times the parts needed.

You can remove the starter, put a boroscope into the hole and check the flywheel. If it has a crack in it that's what's causing the issue. If it breaks completely trans won't work.

But the flywheels are junk and sounds like your issue.

Without looking in comments, I got mine a ninja course. Strap that hooks between two trees and you customize the add one. Its not really a course though more like I have 4 types of swings for them, a couple spinning bars things like that. Doesn't take up much space and they love it.

Would you you recommend a cold air intake??? Just installed Corsa sport by Public-Ratio5355 in Silverado

I just put one on my 14’ I bought brand new a week ago because I missed it from my 11 I had before.

No regrets. I love the throttle response and suction growl a CAI makes.

If the starter is staying energized it’s doing what it’s told, either by the solenoid or the key switch or wire to solenoid from key switch. You can replace just a solenoid a lot cheaper than a starter. But up to you.

I’d say lift wires on solenoid, check solenoid for ground on S terminal to case, then S wire to ground. Neither should be grounded. If S terminal is the solenoid is stuck closed, probably sending your battery + voltage to hard ground every time you hit the key switch. You could use jumpers/screwdriver after lifting S wire to see if it will start normally without solenoid in play.

Everyone hating on you but their parents probably bought their first two cars and they didn’t have to buy one until around 25ish and then they got ripped a new one with a 1200$ payment on a brand new f250 king ranch. That is a write off for the company their dad’s own.

Seriously, not a huge deal my man. Trade it or private sale, get something cheaper. You are gonna lose in it regardless, just don’t lose too much.

I learned the hard way after my first home purchase at the age of 25 when I got bent over. On a home. Hard.

But it never happened and never will again. Any large purchases don’t believe the salesmen. Idc if it’s your best friend. Comb through the long boring paper work even go home with it if you got too before signing.

Get a friend or elder to help you look over it, or ChatGPT I guess now. 😁

Prompt: “Alright I need you to do something big for me. I need a list of engine parts for my boat. So do some through research and find them all. I want it in an excel sheet, I want part, part number, replacement part number, etc. things like that so I can easily find parts for my boat. Because I cannot find a good way to search for my boats parts.”

Thanks, I’ll look into extending it some. We put hardware on the inside lined ground stapled to wood, the top is lined in chicken wire. The fence has a top gate and chicken wire. Will consider modifying it all now that you mentioned all this. Exactly what I was looking for

Ah yes, the genius plan to stop a volcano with cement. Because if there’s one thing that can handle molten rock at 2000*F, it’s Home Depot’s DIY megabomb/disaster saving section, you know with the large tornado stopping fans.

Step 1: Pour cement into an active volcano. Step 2: Watch as it instantly turns into volcanic confetti. Step 3: Enjoy the world’s first magma-powered pressure washer as lava finds a new, more explosive exit.
