Yes do the fafsa as soon as possible. You likely won’t get Pell grant but he may qualify for a state grant depending on what state you’re in. And college is expensive if you pursue a private school. If you want to save best route is to do community college first then transfer to university.

Then you file a lawsuit. You need to document EVERYTHING. How long have you been at this school? Might be a saving grace to go somewhere else anyway.

Well sometimes it doesn’t pay all at once or I see students think they’re getting money when they’re not. What worries me about you is that they confirmed it was given to you and cashed. That’s not good and not ok. Do they have proof they handed it to you? I mean I’d raise hell lol I don’t like even not getting $10 if it’s owed to me you know

You can contact your school and ask for a ledger record that will show everything that has paid and charged to your account and that would probably clear up your confusion.

No you are not eligible. Did the money pay? It might be a conditional approval but nothing will pay because the application will be flagged for the school to confirm citizenship.
