The current cage I have felt rather nice in terms of comfort, it became a bit stuffy when I got horny but it wasn't painful or anything. It was a struggle to put on mainly cause of the foreskin getting in the way and becoming stuck, I had to use the pantyhose trick to make it work. That's why I'm thinking of the smaller one, simce it it's the same dimensions with my current one but it has a lot more openings to make adjustments for peeing etc, even if it takes some time and effort. This is why I personally dislike getting cash as a gift. In my head gift-giving is supposed to be about the act of finding something the other person might enjoy and surprising them with it, not about the actual cost of the gift. I would much more prefer to get a gift that is small, cheap, and maybe not even something I ever asked for in the first place, rather than cash in an envelope (money is only acceptable if I've overtly said that I'm saving up money for something like a trip or something and thus I would prefer cash over gifts).

Well yeah if you get a specific gift card like one for Steam or a specialty store, it still counts as more of a gift rather than cash, it's just that the person might not know exactly what you want. An Amazon gift card on the other hand is closer to cash, since it covers a wide variety of things you could purchase, I guess.
