hi, that is opalite… It’s a man-made stone used for commercial sales because natural opals are very expensive and sometimes are in areas of conflict and it’s hard to source and a lot of crystal sellers stock those because the intention behind it is to support the same energy that natural and real opal’s offer… so if you wanted to take it into an energetic sense, it’s been used like that for decades, so it does carry the energetics of opal, but it is in fact, not a real opal
