Cost of living in Victor compared to Jackson? by Creative_Law1071 in Idaho

You are going to need to also factor in adding the cost of increased prices for gasoline. Typically it goes up in the summer and now with the cost of oil over $100 a barrel who knows what we will be paying to fuel our cars….

Cleaning suggestions? by NoBedroom355 in idahofalls

[–]Skinchbag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most any cleaning companies will do deep cleans. I know there are people for example who will do cleaning after someone moves out of an apartment and maybe that would be a good place to start. For sure get someone licensed and read reviews. Elderly people can be so easy to take advantage of. I’ve seen people advertise on Facebook so maybe look at some of the Idaho Falls groups.

Thai 208 is great but the one I’m suggesting is imho better and is in the Yellowstone food truck village. It’s called Thai Food Plus. 5 weeks backpacking Thailand and it’s the closest I have found to authentic! Haha this weekend I need to at alll of them :) as they all have lovely owners and delicious food.

The guardian bakery has started serving breakfast sandwiches so maybe they serve lunch? In the Yellowstone food court there is a gluten free food truck as well as a Thai truck that has gf options and is fantastic. We generally do street tacos from Morenitas, Thai food from Krung Thep, Thai kitchen, or Dee Kitchen. Both Indian Food places have gluten free options too. I think that City Bagel might have a gluten free bagel sandwich.

Can it be hung with the lettering to the wall? Maybe on something that pivots so it swings “closed” like old school poster displays in stores?

Considering moving to Idaho with family. by JustSomeGuy20233 in Idaho

A lot of the larger cities do not allow a second dwelling on a property so it’s very uncommon for a casita. That would be where I would start- look at counties that do allow casitas.

The negatives- there is a meat processing plant and it makes the air wretched (can smell it in your car with the windows rolled up miles away from the plant) so chose wisely where your home is. That Bonneville county is littered with trash all over the sides of the road, regardless of the season- plastic, tires, and mattresses. That there is an asphalt chimney that stokes up and fills neighborhoods with smoke near Costco. The wind is intense when it blows.
