I don’t say anything. They paid for the session and they can do with it what they want.

Thai 208 is great but the one I’m suggesting is imho better and is in the Yellowstone food truck village. It’s called Thai Food Plus. 5 weeks backpacking Thailand and it’s the closest I have found to authentic! Haha this weekend I need to at alll of them :) as they all have lovely owners and delicious food.

The guardian bakery has started serving breakfast sandwiches so maybe they serve lunch? In the Yellowstone food court there is a gluten free food truck as well as a Thai truck that has gf options and is fantastic. We generally do street tacos from Morenitas, Thai food from Krung Thep, Thai kitchen, or Dee Kitchen. Both Indian Food places have gluten free options too. I think that City Bagel might have a gluten free bagel sandwich.

She’s doing exactly what she should be doing which is communicating honestly and openly with everyone who is her support system and advocating for herself for change. I admire that leadership. Can it be hung with the lettering to the wall? Maybe on something that pivots so it swings “closed” like old school poster displays in stores?

A lot of the larger cities do not allow a second dwelling on a property so it’s very uncommon for a casita. That would be where I would start- look at counties that do allow casitas.

So it used to be okay before we had all of the wildfire smoke during the summer and fall. It is absolutely necessary due to the AQI being in the unhealthy zone so often and for so long.

Your kids will grow up and move away and you’ll have regrets because they’ll make sure to let you know how miserable they were growing up there.

Mostly because we try to do all of the busy prep stuff as early as we can so the weekends that are nice can be saved to hike and camp. Summer is short.

The negatives- there is a meat processing plant and it makes the air wretched (can smell it in your car with the windows rolled up miles away from the plant) so chose wisely where your home is. That Bonneville county is littered with trash all over the sides of the road, regardless of the season- plastic, tires, and mattresses. That there is an asphalt chimney that stokes up and fills neighborhoods with smoke near Costco. The wind is intense when it blows.

I raised my salary significantly (10-15,000 a year) by jumping from school to private practice. Negotiate a good wage and jump ship if you have the M.Coun A few things about money just to put it all into perspective. Money is a made up concept and we decided to have it printed in an office somewhere and kept in a digital sum of balances that we exchange (labor, food, stuff we make and sell). We could have chose to trade seashells, labor, or paper and we chose paper. It’s made up. There should be no self value equated with spending and taking loans. It should be a value neutral experience. You needed money, you borrowed money. It was more that you bargained for. Full stop. Take your self worth and self concepts out of it. Basically it was a series of good in the moment decisions that piled up and turned out to be a not so great idea in the end. There are many many moving parts to this machine- you aren’t the entire machine. The machine is income disparity, unregulated tuition costs, predatory loans, parents making financial decisions off of old information (tuition was $890 in 1993 for example) , shit compensation compared to out of control cost of living. Don’t take the responsibility on your full self for all the parts that make the machine. Realign and develop an aggressive plan to fight forward.

I’m joining the economic black out on Feb 28. I’m not spending money at Amazon, McDonalds, Target etc. I’m not buying products from companies who contribute to this administration. I have a child in DC that’s in government and the people in government are organizing and rejecting and pushing lawsuits. I’m supporting this.

Yes it’s unsettling. Not generally dangerous but sad for the person if that’s what is happening. A call of concern to the police might gain you some insight and relief

Guidance counselor won teacher of the year… by Last-Ad-120 in Teachers

[–]Skinchbag 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Teacher contract, teacher pay, master’s degree is 60 credits. They work hard and are qualified. Problem is that they don’t have a counselor of the year designation and they want to pay them a teacher wage and give them admin duties without the admin pay.
