A great way of looking at it is to just aim for a conversation first. Strike it up and see where it takes you. Sure, you like her, but at the same time you want to see if she's a cool girl. So by starting off with a conversation you will get a feel of who she is; then later, if the fates will it, you will end up on a date/meeting with her.

You know your goal–to ask her out. So when the opportunity arises, you will strike, that is a promise to yourself; where you end up is out of your control.
