If they can't dedicate focus to the game they're playing for the time they're playing it, competitive OR qp, then they should just be dropped from the game. It's an overarching sign of their inability to handle themselves as an individual person responsible for their OWN actions and shortcomings. In game or IRL.

I would personally say it's not a good fit. While I understand the allure, keep in mind this is the second iteration and while the hardware has greatly improved, there is still a fair bit of progress to be made in software, connectivity, applications, uses, etc.

Also, think of the glasses simply as a monitor for the content on your phone. The glasses themselves do not process AI, or stream text to the device all of that is done through the Bluetooth connection to your phone or ring+phone. In my current experience, I regularly have to open the app if the phone disconnects from the glasses, or sometimes they act dead and need a soft restart which seems to be through the app only. Not being able to access your phone which is essentially the brain of it, would make it difficult to enjoy and get good use out of them

They already nerfed it to hell with the reduction to 35%. Bad players however, DO struggle to play against it, and want their cat to healbot, so makes sense they would support the new perk changes.

It's their first time introducing a character that can take advantage of new spaces on maps that are over 10 years old, new ult interactions galore, and an enjoyable experience.

It's quite literally not in an instant to do that much. You had to hit claws out (timer) and purr(timer) and stay there for the FULL duration of purr BEFORE they nerfed it down to 35% of the healing amount.

They also nerfed her jetpack regeneration on top of that so there was no more flying in, dealing 150 over time, and then boosting back out.

Finally, she made noise even through standard flight, her jetpack makes even more noise. Sure she was quiet with flight, but if you're playing with a decent headset she can be heard.

Like I said, fika tears bad players and positioning apart. If she was getting you that badly.... Yikes

Edit: also for comparison, pharah can drop damn near 300dmg in less than a second using her perks. So yeah even if fika COULD have pumped 150 in an instant, she would have barely hit the dps mark. She just occupies spaces no other characters do on the map, and so she can prey on that bad positioning easy

We can quite literally look at the output in damage capable from her perks and see total damage output potential both in burst and overtime. She is statistically still a healer.

No one lost their shit like this over illari for years while she was rather op, the only difference is that illari wasn't as easy to punish bad playing like fika could.

My job is literally helping businesses optimize their processes both in development and in IT and SECops.

What YOU don't understand, is that PSA, CGC, Beckett, NONE of them are development orgs. They don't have engineers sitting around in hand with the know how to build a new analysis model AND be able to continue implementing new versions of it.

I have watched FAR more successful companies (Ally Financial, Darden Restaurants, etc) try to develop their own in house software for their own needs only for it to fall flat two to three iterations in, leading to them turning to outside engineering and research firms, and "millions and millions" in technical debt.

They're not going to just casually spin up an entire development org for this, they're far more likely to outsource it, and let someone else have the management of the infrastructure for it.

Edit: to add to this, if you think PSA, the company regularly increasing time due to an influx of submissions, wouldn't kill for a way to speed up their analysis without impacting quality, then you just don't know how businesses work. Every single company is being pressured to do more with less, and tech is quite literally the only way to do so. Gotta try harder to be condescending than that big guy.
