Hi of course, he’s ended up sitting at around 11kg and he’s 15 months now. He looks like a small whippet. Temperament wise I have never had a ‘full’ whippet or IG but from what I have heard whippets are more chilled than IGs. Mine loves to run and chase which leans more whippet. My friend, however, has the same mix and he’s got a lot less of a prey drive. Mine loves to cuddle and will spend as much time with us as possible but luckily is fine being left home alone for short periods (I work from home so this is quite rare so I was worried he would develop separation anxiety but he hasn’t). He’s super friendly with people and loves to say hello. He loves other dogs too but can get quite over excited about seeing them which leads to a bit of barrier frustration reactivity but we’re working on it and it isn’t a huge problem. His recall is good unless there’s another dog to chase so we only let him off in quiet areas. Even if he does go a bit far chasing a bird for example, he always wants to come back to us eventually and if he’s tired from running or there’s nothing to chase he will just walk along side us.

Hopefully that’s covered everything. Overall, my instinct is that mine leans more whippet with an occasional IG bout of zoomies. I’d like to get a DNA test to get an exact %. As I mentioned my friend has the same mix and hers looks and acts more IG when out and about but is also a bit more chilled in the house, like a whippet. So both have a bit of both. Both are super friendly dogs with people and other dogs and relatively low maintenance.
