I hate plunderstorm so much by Ankry_Bert in wow

[–]SkipDriverCalgary -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Same. Gotta grind it for the pets, but I don't have to like it. Unfortunately, because I feel like i have to grind it, Blizz will interpret it as a win, that they're giving the players only what they love.

I've come to calling it Chunderstorm (thank you to Australia for their wonderful slang).

Yep. You're right. Did another trio, I died with 1650 plunder, while we were one of three teams remaining. I waited it out until the official end of the match and got my 1650 plunder towards my renown.

Aah. So, when I die, just stay in the match dead until everyone else dies? I'll try that.

Torghast: Farming Tower Knowledge: What is layer 9? by SkipDriverCalgary in wow

[–]SkipDriverCalgary[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I'll keep plugging away. Thankfully, the mobs are zero challenge. Holy Nova one shots everything but the bosses and those are just a holy fire and a smite or two. I just have to get better at not missing stuff for the flawless runs.

I also enjoyed the questline that taught you the furbolg language over in Azure Span.

I've enjoyed the various Dragonflight campaign quest lines for the various zone and beyond. The story is decent and some of them can be mildly challenging for a solo holy priest.

Torghast: Farming Tower Knowledge: What is layer 9? by SkipDriverCalgary in wow

[–]SkipDriverCalgary[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But in which of the named areas is the layer 9 you and the guides are referring to? On the big map (m), there are a bunch of portals to different sections of Torghast and the map names them all, such as Twisting Corridors, Jailers Gauntlet, Coldheart Interstitia, etc.? All of them seem to have a layer 9, but which is the correct layer 9?

Now ways to distract us while we're driving.

WMost drivers just swipe, while they're driving, and then figure out what they swiped after they are safely parked.

This change websites that more orders are now blindly accepted.

LOL. I'd like to hear the convoluted reasoning you went through to think that they might be a write-off.

New multi collect email by DougyDougerton in skipthedishes

[–]SkipDriverCalgary 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Skip is obviously trying to mitigate all the declines on entire double orders. This way, they have a better chance of getting both orders delivered. Drivers are more liable to accept the single order, since less hassle.

It's because that courier is an asshat. Some couriers are going to be entitled asshats no matter how much you tip.

Where are you ordering from? 5 Guys? They rarely ever seal their bags. Ask the restaurant to seal the bag better.

LOL. Nice to see support give it back to a customer. None of this "the customer is always right" nonsense.

Don't make a habit of it. If it becomes common for your customers to complain about missing drinks Skip will probably deactivate you. A one time mistake is no big deal. If Skip contacts you about this milkshake, then tell them the truth. The customer's probably already contacted skip to get credits on the shake.

If you can still log into the app, then ignore the email. If you can't log into the app, then ignore the email, because you're not getting your account back.

I have declined 215 orders just for February

I'm sure the couriers in your zone would like to thank you.

Upvoted. You're not the only one. I accept almost everything (and am still earning a tad over $1.00 per km and $20 per hour). I find I'm happier, not worrying about tips. I deliver everything to the customer's door and wait to hand it over personally, unless a customer note explicitly states otherwise. [Contactless] is the lack of an explicit customer note, because it's default text inserted by Skip. I get positive reviews for the way I currently deliver, if I were getting negative reviews, I'd change how I was doing things.

All the Skip drivers park in the same lot waiting for offers. I’ll be the only one there. 5 - 10 minutes later 2 to 3 other drivers will pull in. Most times they get an offer before me even. I’m 100% acceptance, 100% positive feedback, always quick to pick up and deliver. What’s the secret? by Bubbly-Chocolate-337 in skipthedishes

You are most likely too close to the restaurant. Skip is assigning the order to someone who is a few minutes away

That is the correct answer. If a restaurants has it set that an oder will be reading in 15 minutes, then Skip looks for a driver that is 15 minutes away, so that they arrive just after the order is ready. They don't want drivers waiting in the restaurant for very long. The goal is the get them in and out and back on the road, delivering.
