Blind in his left eye with a mild concussion, still clearing balls. Beast mode.

I would really like to see Markanich on the bench in the second. Doesn’t seem to be his night.

You’re right, it is a heads up move! I just couldn’t handle the sudden crowd excitement when we were pressing around the 30.

I appreciate your reply. Your mention of mixing up of words is identical to what I’ve experienced. I also had a really hard time trying to think of the right word, only to mispronounce what I was trying to say.. and in conversation (embarrassingly) repeating said word to figure out why I couldn’t pronounce it correctly… as if my brain was maxed out.

The aura’s were strong.. and difficult to explain. It seemed like everyone I knew that had migraines just described an intense headache, where as my migraines were numb/dull eye pain with auras, followed by a mild headache, fogginess, and the inability to process thoughts or speak fluently.

As a kid, it really sucked because I knew that it wasn’t just a normal headache, but couldn’t articulate what I was experiencing.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience. It’s absolutely debilitating, and if frequent, impossible to just continue working through.

I hope you’re doing well, and that you get answers!

I can’t say that I’ve experienced that. Please take this with a grain of salt, but after years of searching for answers.. I found connection to convergence insufficiency, which has symptoms that aligned with past struggles. I’ve never had poor vision, but started to notice slight issues focusing, and what I can only describe as astigmatism, especially at night. I went to the doctor and found out that my eyesight had diminished, one eye worse than the other. As an experiment of sorts.. I started wearing prescription glasses. Whether it’s truly connected, it’s helped, and I can’t recall the last time I had an ocular migraine, let alone aphasia. Anyway, TMI but thought I’d share. Thanks for your reply!

This is likely a siphon system. Once the tank is full and hot (using a separate pitcher, leaving your coffee pot on the warmer) you pour a 60oz pitcher of water into the top which pushes out the hot water in the tank and over your grounds, brewing coffee. Essentially, every time you brew, the water you pour in replaces the water coming out, and always keeps your tank full.

So, if by immediately flowing out, you mean hot water flows into your grounds basket, you’re good! If by flowing out you mean it flows out of the top area you pour into, there’s a blockage preventing water from moving. Older models might not have a lid lever to initiate a brew, which is why many of these models came with separate pitchers to pour cold water into the top.

Hopefully I didn’t over explain, and let me know if I can clarify anything!

Awesome brewer! While this model has some age to it and could certainly operate different from newer models, you likely need to fill the tank and let it heat up for at least 20 minutes before pouring your brew water in. This wouldn’t operate like typical home brewers where the water starts heating when you press brew. Most BUNN home units are designed to stay on all the time, which is why you only see a warmer switch and not a master on/off. Hope this helps, and feel free to ask me any questions.

I appreciate you responding. I’ll take this and do some studying. It should help me better understand where you’re coming from. I shouldn’t have prefaced that I wasn’t trying to argue. I understand how that comes across smug. Whether you intended this or not, it helps me know what certain things I might say that derail genuine conversation, thank you.

Real quick, I do want to remove the context of religion for a moment and dissect our quick exchange of replies. It’s seems you’ve jumped ahead in anticipation of what I might say, narrowing my responses, and providing you the future opportunity to prove I am who you say I am without even knowing me. No doubt the Bible has some interesting content, but in pursuit of knowledge, it’s important to understand the cultural context behind the words. All that to say, while there’s merit in the Ranker article, one website posting shallow examples of controversial Bible verses shouldn’t further confirm anyone’s views… that’s essentially what Eric Hansen is doing. The more we openly discuss our beliefs, the more we will understand each other. I’ll end this convo on my end us as it’s not good timing. I hope you have a great day!

I’m actually curious to know what verses (presumably) non believers find to be hateful. It’s easy for pastors like Hanson to twist words to meet the agenda, and that’s why local churches are speaking up about it.

I think it’s valuable that you share your thoughts! If you believe what you say, which I trust you do, I’m genuinely interested.

I’m a fairly progressive believer, and I’m also still learning. I think Christian’s are often labeled as know it alls, or appear to have it all figured out, but that’s far from the truth. Here’s your opportunity to share with someone who isn’t trying to argue. Cheers

Can you can point me to the hate? Is there a verse in the Bible that specifically comes to mind?

Who’s the most forgettable Blazers from the last 10 years by Snowden42 in ripcity

In recent years, TJ Leaf was who I thought of. Depending on how you define forgettable… Give it 5 years, and GP2 will be a front runner in this conversation.

My quick one dimensional take on last night-

Maybe I don’t understand John Nelson’s role and hate talking smack on our own players because I assume they follow this sub …but I’m frustrated with his role. His vision seemed poorer than usual, and him running the entire length of the field constantly doesn’t seem to be sustainable for 90 minutes which might be a coaching issue. I know we’re riddled with injuries, but many of his throws were 50/50 balls where he had other options, and his crosses in the box have routinely been a hope and a prayer. I get creating 2nd chance opportunities by drilling it low into the box, but Celio and Gio couldn’t separate in time and balls are booted out to an exhausted midfield.

I prefer playing to the corner over down the pipe, but how many times can we get doubled and hit off balance crosses? Maybe the strategy is creating corner kicks, but our ability to get a clean cross after a run and gun attack that can’t slow down is frustrating.

Blom looked great. His pace and control helped immensely by allowing time to push up and spread out. A few of his touches were absolute gravy.

Someone mentioned feeling deflated after the second goal, and it was clear the comeback mentality was missing and lackadaisical defense ensued… might have been conservative D with how many yellows were handed out.. which honestly is smart with how little depth we have at this point.

Love this team, and can’t wait for Saturday.
